Translation of Famitsu Magazine

The Boss
The following features were mentioned in the latest edition of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. They are however unconfirmed, as they come from a Spanish forum... so they have been translated twice... and obviously some mistakes may have been made.

- No online play
- High through-pass ( L1 + /\ ) now has a power bar
- Post-tackle brawl animation in which the referee gets involved
- Linesman animation, seen after a player is given offside
- 5 new abilities: Keep Dribble, Line Positioning, Side Player, Centre Player, Sliding
- New passing system. You can now choose the distance of the pass and more accuratley select the player you want to pass too
- More dribbling movements
- New types of Penalty and Free Kicks
- Increase in the AI of the CPU
- The referee will not issue a yellow card for the first average tackle, but if a player continues to commit average fouls, a card will be given
- Winning a game in Master League will raise the abilities of your players

I wonder if this applies to all players or just to the default players you start off with?

I like the sound of the new passing system although I hope they don't over complicate it.

Mm good question Wixon, I hope they will implent it to for other players, otherwise the gameplay would be a bit screwed dont you think?? I would never buy another player if the default ML team can grow to an outstanding level. but he! i think it will also be for other players, cause the default ML team is always pretty old and in the new ML system the get older so you need to buy new players and it would be such a shame if they cant grow. That would really piss me off!

- New types of Penalty and Free Kicks

You got an answer on this? New types does that means you can select the Signori penalty for every player? Or also a powerbar?? I hope both....
As you can see lot of questions still, and thats a bit of a pity...

Cheers

If you lot look at this picture you will see at the left you see a players stats. There is a bit where it says EXP this is experience which means the more you play the more your experence goes up and if you get 100 your stats will go up by one which is brilliant

This bit is strange:

In addition there is this, again unconfirmed, list of new stadiums:

Bologna
Perugia
Brescia
Sampdoria
Newcastle
Leeds
Fullham
Tottenham
Middlesbrough
Real Madrid
Valencia
Deportivo La Coruna
France (Stade de France)

Marseille's velodrome is confirmed to be in the game, however.

Leeds have been relegated, and i believe Perugia have from Serie A as well. Also, Fulham's stadium is shit so why would that be in WE8. What next? are we going to see West Ham in the game again? I bet Celta Vigo will also be in the game even though they were relegated as well. I hope this info is fake as there are too many English stadiums.

I find it hard to believe that Brescias stadium will be in the game aswell because it is so haggard and run down. Unless of course they are one of the new licenced teams in the game.

Exactly. And what about Craven Cottage. That would be even worse.

Also, just read the details on the FIFpro licensed national teams and it looks like Algeria, Israel are a couple of new ones.

i liked the old passing system, i don't like them to complicate it, and the through ball with triangle is now with a power bar? i don't think we needed that i mean you could do the long through ball with the circle instead of the triangle

hey i mean why not? the more stadiums the better and although priority should probably be given to the best stadiums in the world, it will be good to play in a variety of different grounds. its all about evolution and increasing the amount of teams, players and stadiums each year so i think any new stadium is a good thing.

not sure about the power bar for through balls

Periga has not been relegated they are in the relegation play offs with a serie b team that finishes 6th i think.

So there stadium might be in the game

IMO the power bar for through balls is a good idea, because in PES3 a lot of the time through balls don't work as you would want them to, now we will have extra control over them.

they should do bad stadiums cause of national teams like Cameroon, Egypt, Morroco and stuff, though we have a stadium that holds about 80.000 but most african countries and other small european countries don't have good stadiums

thats my point exactly! it will be good to have all different kinds of stadiums big and small because not every country/club has a magnificent stadium like the san siro, old trafford or the nou camp

Thank God Nehterlands are ther aswell

Yep. That has spoilt the game a little bit in the past, especially the problem with 2 Davids, Seedorfs, van Hooijdonks in the ML.

Thanks for putting that straight but could still go down as yet.

There should be stadiums of all different shapes and sizes but have you seen brescias and fulhams? I hope this proves my point.

Brescia Stadium

Fulham Stadium

Hasn't Craven Cottage been redeveloped though? That's why Fulham had to share Loftus Road last season. I think Craven Cottage is an all-seater now

Yeah you're probably right, but i still wouldnt put it in the game when you consider what else they could use. Theres too many English stadia anyway.
