hi got my copy today! cant wait to try it out when i get home!! im ok with the jap text as ill use the tranlastion pages on here! but what about players names, are they all in japanese aswell?

if so are there any where thatll tranlate them for me?

yeah the players are written in japanese.. and i tried editing them assuming they will have an english alphabet but they didn't...

As mentioned in another thread, there's a patch at:

It doesn't translate everything, but the players' names are in English as are some of the menus, tactics, etc.

thats quite dissappointing that the names are in japenese. does this affect how much fun the game is because you cant select your team as easily or is it still playable?

i think it should be ok, coz youll be able to tell the well knwon players by there postion, stats and height, so should be ok, im sure someone out there though has/will make a guide to telll us all the players

What do you mean quite dissapointing, it's expected. The 100% English patch won't take much longer to finalise.

I usually go by positions and stats like sam mentioned that together with squad numbers and you have it sorted. Plus the players have their names on their backs in English and after a game or 2 you are familiar with names anyway.

there is an english alphabet to choose from in edit mode, so you can change their names to english manually, or get a patch

Like kochman said, you can change all player names and club names to English.

100% translation patch should be released any day now.
