If you counter attack down the wing and hit it in with a low hard cross (o three times) and you've got some fast forwards, henry Etc youv'e got a certain goal.

Perfect Form

Wow! I just found a great formation for me and my players, and now I'm playing the best football I've ever played! I'm Barcelona and it's like this:

4-1-2-3
GK: Victor Valdes
CBT: Kompany, Puyol, Marquez
LB: Kaebi (Actually plays LWB, but I'm playing WE8I)
DMF: Muntari
OMF: Messi, Ronaldinho
RWF: Martins
CF: Eto'o, Rooney

It would take too long to explain all the aspects of the formation, but Martins up the wing to Eto'o or Rooney is money! He's SOOO fast he can burn past all the defenders! Plus, Messi and Ronaldinho aren't too shabby and can make plays or put it in themselves.

I'm also getting better at defending and creating offensive opportunities, so that helps as well. I have to say, mixing up X, Square, R1+X, R1+Square, or just R1 and a direction really helps with defense. I used to be one of those guys who would hold down R1+X the whole time, but mixing it up works so much better. Calling in that second defender really helps out sometimes.

I may post some pictures so everyone can see how I set up the positions and arrows. How is it some people make those pictures of formations?

lol, i play 6star (unlocked it), and have done since ISS Pro 98 (or five star in that case, anyways, i basically play on hardest level where possible) started with default ML team, got to div.1 in 1 season, won div1 cup, then won WEFA a year after :D. I plyed (even from start), a 3-2-3-2, that is, 3 CB's, 2 WB's that push forward (almost like SMF's), 1 DMF, 2 OMF's, 2 CF's. My current lineup:

GK: Howard (got him on a free :))
CB: Libermann (default)
CB: Ruskin (default)
CB: Jaric (best default player - turns out into mid 80's skill level player)
RWB: Kaabi (A.K.A Dagaka - fastest bitch on the pitch)
LWB: Peaton (from Celtic, traded him for Fouque, plus earned $900 from teh deal, looking to replace with Robben)
DMF: Mbami (Pretty good, aiming to get Park Ji Sung tho)
OMF: Iniesta (on a free, fast runner)
OMF: Kallstrom (best shot/freekicker i've ever used)
CF: Nihat (speed demon)
CF: Ewerthon (speed demon)

so u can basically see that i play thru pass style (coz of pacey front men), but can also hold up play, and lay up Kallstrom for that piledriving game-breaker, or have WB's come in from deep and hit them home. Once i get 2 good CB's (i'm keeping Jaric), i'm switching to SMF's instead of WB's - i play brazilian football, score more than they do :).

> Radar is essential for 6*. You can break a game open by simply taking a glance, seeing ur front men right up on opp. defensive line, and hitting a chip-thru ball from deep in defence, for ur 90+ paced forwards to latch on to). I use these maybe 4-5 times a match, and i glance at radar frequently, to watch for players running forward for thru ball, offside trap, etc..

> One-two is also bad-ass, with skillful enough players, and someone fast to latch on to, u can cleave thru an opp. defence, even if it's AC Milan :). I even use these to play out of defence :)! another move I use really often.

> Here's one you might not have tried - run down the line, then cross along the ground (3x O, tho u'll have to watch radar to make sure ur striker is in good position to slam it in). Done correctly, I've scored 3-4 goals in one match with this play.

Mostly, I incorporate almost all the moves i know (step-over, 1-2, chip-thru, normal thru, marseille roulette, low cross, lay-up, etc) into my game, all over the pitch (where applicable).

Can you tell me how to perform the 'Robana' I know that I need a player who is very one footed what's next?

Can you tell me how to perform the 'Robana'? I know that I must use a player with poor weak foot frequency, but what next?

Rabona...

Very low weak foot frequency, and from there, it's just about positioning. Get into a spot where it's sort of awkward for him to use his bad foot and shoot (IE coming in at a bad angle for it). Even then it's a little random.

I think you might also need high shot technique.

Finally! Cheers, do you know where the name came from?
