two-player co-op

on another forum, someone said that in two-player co-op mode, if you dont pass to the player your friend is controlling, you will automatically be in control of the receiving player. this would be crap! you could go through a whole passage of play without being involved in it!

please someone say this aint true or that it can be changed, co-op is pretty much all i play and it would really ruin the game for me if this cant be changed.

Haven't played co-op yet, so can't give an answer.

thats pretty crap to be honest, though it makes the other player work harder to fibd space and produce greater runs, alothough it would be as lonely as playing FIXED!

alright zyg you can be a bit of the sarky bastard sometimes. just thought id see what the insight gang thought of this as well. an important point for anyone who plays co-op so people here should know too.

yeah i agree matt, i think it could be a double-edged sword the more i think about it

Yes and no, it's depends who press L1 first, if you pass to someone else your partner must quicly press L1 to control the recieving player, otherwise, yes, you will be automaticly in control of the receiving player i believe (i have played a lot 2 vs 2, but now i'm not so sure about this because me and my teammate always press L1 to be the recieving player). So, when the ball is on his way you partner can still swith to the player who will recieve the ball.

well heres a strange thing. i played the opsm demo and i could see no difference whatsoever from pes3 in terms of who gets the ball in two-player co-op, ie, if i pass to a player that isnt being controlled by my mate, itll still be him thats in control. no l1 pressing. we were both on manual. thoughts?
