I might as well invest in one of these X-Port things instead

Ive done some snooping on PLAY.com and if im right with this xport I can save my PS2 data onto my pc, Is this correct???

I would use it though mostly for updating PES3 team names etc etc

If you could get me any more information on this Xport and what Il be able to use it for it would be appreciated

Or if it is another post I will look myself

how did action reply manage to get an update disk ready for launch date? its not like konami are gonna senda copy of pes3 to a cheat company!

How long.............. do you reckon before we can get updates online for pes3 via xport?

pesfan say they will have a PES3 option file available on the day of the release, the 17th. They've had the full version for a few days now. We'll just have to wait and see if their file is any good. Check in the Editing section for a link on the day.

And I don't think that Konami would make money from the cheat disk in any case but I don't know for sure.

The update CD's suck good style.....

I foolishly used it for PES2 and the updates were done in a very slapdash way.......

For example @ Man Utd. D. May became Rio , but by name only !!????

and Irwin became O'Shea , again by name only no stat or position change ........

I've just ordered an x-port , but even if I don't use it I wouldn't get one of those discs again.
Best of doing it yourselves or gettin' a good file of x-port.....

I've been trying to find info about this bloody update disk and all the forums are full of people saying 'dont get that, get an x-port'. I dont want a bloody x-port and neither do a lot of people, i just want to know what the update cd does exactly!!!!!

what if you have already started a master league season on PES3 and u want to update the game with the cd will it make the changes without needing to start master league again?

Hi guys. I m new here so plz help me out.

I checked play.com and they say that Ultimate Update: Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is UK Playstation 2 compatible only. That means it wont work on all PAL versions, in other countries? I live in Greece. Does anyone know if it will work on my ps2?

Also it says that " ( it) Includes real names and statistics for all the English clubs ". What about all the other palyers' names? Can someone tell me if the update covers everything, i.e. all names, kits, flags and recent transfers, or not?

Hi Can you tell me if you have the latest PES3 update and if it update all the names for all the teams & Players ?

And also if it updates the kits including sponsership on the shirts ?

NOTHING anywhere will add sponsors to shirts. Only patching the game can do this and this isn't possible yet.

UK PS2s are PAL so the disk *should* work for all PAL areas - this is a guess.

My opinion is that this disk is not a good update to your PES3. As you can see in the Editing section, there is an X-Port option file currently available with the following changes:

PES3 Roster List v3.0
99% Complete PES3 Roster List, All player names and team names corrected where there is no official license.
Corrected Kits for both National and club teams
Improved Flags
Transfers uptodate as of 16/10/03
Corrected Club team formations
Corrected Club team squad numbers
Corrected club team starting 11's
Euro, world, American, Australasian and Konami cups won.
League competition won
Player transfer mode unlocked
Team Modification mode unlocked

I see your point of an EX-port

Kanomi must have done the kits properly at one point as i have seen playstation magazine the Tottenham kit with sponsers on it but they are not leicenced in the game ?
