So i'm playing a master league exhibition game and for some reason buffon's taking the opposition's corner which I subsequently clear to my midfielder, now my striker's in the opposition half with the cpu's defender running towards goal and buffon still not back, i play the ball to my forward with the last man now on the line and suddenly I get blown for offside, now unless i'm forgetting something major i think i've just been robbed.
Now I'm used to dubious decisions in PES but this one has left me mouth-open speechless, please tell me I'm not the only one to suffer such an indignity???

isnt it if your past the keeper, two defenders have to be between keeper and goal? im not sure though. were you in your own half?

your sort of right,that last defender would count as the goalie so your offside,theres got to be 2 players in front of you if you see what i mean.Usualy its a defender and a goalie but in this case the goalie isnt there so the defender is the goalie.Hmm think thats right lol

Red Spaniad is right. Any of the defending team. Not specifically the keeper, that's just how it tends to happen.

And they say women don't know the offside rule.

lol Fair enough, i always just assumed that the last defender was the last defender regardless of where the goalie is, guess I need to get the ol regulation book out again.
