dont know if anyone else has experience but this has happened to me a few times..

If i'm winning, the opposition will somehow disconnect leaving the game running. So the whole game just stays still saying 'waiting for another player'. However long I leave it it stays. I then have to disconnect and it counts as a loss for me!

I've even had people messaging me before telling me there about to do it

nothing is more fustrating, I had an 11 game winning streak now ruined. Then because I lost that game my players played shite the following few games. everythings fucked now

instead of disconnecting I just left it whilst I came on here. half an hour later the game resumes and he starts playing and trying to score. cheeky fuck.

i messaged him asking how he did this and he said "thanks for your IP". then said "I win 3-0"

his name is REMOVED

the ball has gone out of play again and he has obviously paused it again waiting for me to just turn off. so he must have been sitting there, waiting for the last house for me to leave so he can take the points. UNBELIEVABLE.

Funny thing is I am waiting to take a goal kick and the whistle will go as soon as its kicked. I'll leave it overnight and see what happens.

This is by far the saddest thing i've ever seen in my life. I am going to add him and give him abuse after this. I'm interested to see his rating.

thats what i thought but he's doing kind of cheat.

i've looked up his profile and his rating is 800. he's from italy too. maximum consecutive wins - 79

I can't believe Konami hasnt done anything to prevent this. I never played PES online because I heard horror story after horror story. I can think of at least five ways to counter-act this cheating strategy off the top of my head.

Konami, along with that cheating guy, needs to get flogged.

I've seen that before a couple of times - I'm a stubborn SOB though, and just put my TV on half screen (half TV and half PES) and sat and waited!

Like you, he started to play again after a while, obviously hoping to catch me unawares... I was 2-0 up at the time after 15mins, scored another straight away after he restarted the match and he tried it again (the same holding the game up - "waiting for player"). Yet again I stuck it on half screen and waited. After 10 more minutes he pulled the connection and I won 3-0.

I just don't think there's anything you can do other than to report him to Konami and be patient.

BTW, this guys rating was 850+ (by far and away the best rated person I've beaten/faced). There was NO WAY that he was this good though.

just write to konami support and with his name ,and if your using playstation write to them too with his user ID ,with a bit of luck you may just get him banned ,or at the very least they will watch him get the program hes using then block that

writing it on here ,is like pissing in the wind as this site is just a forum
