I think Totti and Crespo are extremely over rated, but Micolli is quite under rated, in my eyes he's quality.

And therein lies the problem. Different people have different opinions about the ability of players, and Konami have incorporated accurate stats in their eyes. Therefore people will think players have been under/over rated - it is impossible to use stats that will satisfy everyone.

I think that Saviola is slightly over rated yet the most under rated player in the game is clearly Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo is over rated, I think Konami tend to put out a lot of respect in the stats for stars who were one day ridiculously good. Robben needs some touch-ups I agree... obviously many of the young players are underrated, like Messi and etc. Rooney actually seems pretty good as far as ratings go, though.

Ronaldinho, to me, seems underrated in the game.

@Mauro16: I don't think they underrated him, he's probably the best in the game bar the classics.

they do it because of the master league,...for SOME of the underrated players like Messi, he's so young that if he was very good in the default pes5, he would be 99 for everything in the Master League I THINK

Over-rated: I would hate to say this but feel I have to, but Ryan Babel. Not heard hardly anything about him in real life but on Pro5 I always buy him and he is always top quality, and I'm talking World Class top quality, so probably over rated there.

Adriano.

Under-rated: Alberto Gilardino. For some reason he was better on Pro when he was at Parma than now when he's at Milan. On Pro 4 he was an absolute God but these days he doesn't grab as many goals.
