unsolvable problem!

i reall want to play online but my ps2 is rooms away from the only pc with broadband. sounds stupid but how do i get around this?

just take the playstation2 closer to your PC, see that wasn't hard

well, u see, that would be the simple option but there is no space. And no t.v anywhere near the computer/
router.

a) youll need a router for both to work at the same time
b) need to check that you isp suports ps2
then either run a wire or get a wireless router and recive

for the network adaptor cable, can u get an extension cable.

run an ethernet cable from your modem into the ps2. you can get a 25 metre able for about a tenner.

I bought my 25 Meter STRAIGHT ethernet cable from a very well known auction site. Was 8.99p

You need a router but apart from that is simple. Although the wire is messy its worth it. As for using a router im not convinced that you get a great connection using one. If you want dedicated fast online gaming you might be better to invest in a extra long modem cable. Then all you do is keep the original modem next to the ps2 and swap the router and Modem when you wanna play.

If that doesnt make sense let me know and ill try and explain it in english.
