The love that North America is getting this year is awesome! I guess all that moaning last year really paid off :D

Quickly skimming through the teams and the starting XIs seem fairly accurate so far. Much much closer to real starting XIs compared to past updates. Some notable player upgrades and nerfs as well but it seems like they don't take effect if you edited the player yourself. Some of my players are still on the exact same stats I gave them so looks like I have to reset those players back to default and see if anything changed. Luckily I only edited around a dozen players so should be a quick job.

Yea man where have you been? Konami said transfers are only done til Jan 15. Pretty lame I know.

Anyways I was right I did have to reset the dozen players whose stats I edited in order to get the new stats. Some of them are even much better than what I gave them, like Arshavin lol. A lot of the stat changes make sense. Lennon, Walcott, and Kaka are fuckin fast now! Rooney and Berbatov took a big hit in speed while Antonio Valencia now has the speed he deserves. Higuain is finally good while Benzema took a nerf. Messi is now 1 of the best finishers in the game, Xavi and Iniesta gets 95 dribble and Pedro is finally good. That means Barcelona overtakes Madrid as the best team in the game again. I guess that also means bad news for you online folks to frequently come up against them hehe.

Also this is going to open up a big can of worms again. I only played 1 match so far but seems like there's some real noticeable gameplay changes. It's a lot slower, I'm receiving a million fouls, and the CPU attacks me every chance they got! I'll go play some more and report back to you guys whether it's true or whether I just need some sleep lol. Sit tight.

Aguero is the same. Perea is 96 speed, 96 acceleration.

Arsenal is really good now. Nice updates to Vermaelen, Song, Cesc, Gibbs, Walcott, and finally Arshavin gets the stats he deserves. Also Wilshere has 93 technique! :eek:hmy:

Ronaldinho is good again too. Lots of nice upgrades and nerfs all around the game and some better formations, but it's too bad Konami still don't have any common sense with regards to starting lineups. For example Wes Brown starts ahead of Rio. Yea we know Rio has been injured irl but get a clue Konami. He's not injured in Pes so he starts understand? Lescott and Carlton Cole are more examples. I hate having to edit all the starting lineups :(

After playing a few more games it really does seem like the CPU are much more attacking. Had a good match against Barca for once.

Just a quick question.. :blush:

I updated my PES game literally to the max for the EPL using the in-game editor for 360 coz i dont have all this fancy modding software etc but anyway.... have done all the january transfers and team line-ups and kits and player stats etc....

then i downloaded the december patch recently and it reset most of the transfers and all the team names etc :crymore: I then spent hours re-doing everything again and once again its up-to-date.

So my question is, should i even bother with this feb update?

When i bought the game last month i only installed update 1.03. Was i supposed to have installed the previous 2? and if so how do i do that?

Drogba went down in speed to 85/83 but he gain in shot acc 85 and shot power 87. The rest is the exact same.

Anelka also went down in speed to 85/80 but he gained a lot in other areas. He is one of the best now.
Offense 93, dribble 85, passing 82/80, shot 92, teamwork 90, reaction, 1v1 scoring.

Asenjo has def 84, response 87, gk 78. No idea if that's improvement or not, I don't follow him.

If you have 1.03 then I'm pretty sure you have the other patches. Should be safe to grab the new update.

Mine doesn't reset team names, kits, or player stats, only transfers and formations. But I have ps3 so I dunno about xbox. If you play online then you have no choice but to update. If you don't bother with online then I guess it's not necessary if you're happy with your option file.

Ronaldo got nerfed a bit. Speed 88/90, dribble 97/97, tech 95, agg 95, and defense priority card.

Messi got upgrade lol. He lost some speed, only 84/92 now but his long pass is 82/82, tech 96, agg 95, and shot 92 :eek:hmy:

Italy looks the same to me. Except Palombo and Pepe. Were they always there? Anyways Di Natale improved too.

Referees do seem more strict after playing over 10 games but it's still too early to be certain. Could just be freaky luck. Didn't get hacked down in penalty box yet so can't say if penalties are fixed.

I think Konami did sneak in some gameplay changes though. At 1st I was wondering to myself why the dribbling felt really off to me, but in a good way. I then decided to switch to the analog stick and instantly noticed improvements. Dribbling is much smoother, more precise, and more responsive. Players dribble where I tell them when I tell them and they stop right when I tell them, even the clumsy dribblers. Also players, both on your team and opposite teams, are more aware, responsive, and aggressive towards loose balls. They're also more willing to stick their leg out to steal or block balls.

Maybe I took some placebo pills before I started playing today lol. Whoever is not watching the CL go see if you notice anything different.

EDIT 2: What reasoning do they have for giving Walcott and Arshavin and update? Kaka too? They made Iniesta worse, their Mame Diouf is a joke.
