Into my 4th season of ML now and signed 3 or 4 players but with a couple of them there form arrow is constantly on the purple downward facing arrow.

Anyone any ideas why this is or how to change it?

They sign, play a couple of games and then there arrow is down, form is off and their love for the club non existent :(.

- They play regullary
- Play in the correct positions
- I try to train them

Any thoughts?

Other people have had the same problem, there doesn't appear to be any real solution.

Have you checked their "form" stat? It's either "form" or "consistency".... either way, it's one of the attributes rated out of 8, towards the bottom. This has a big effect. For example, Ronaldo (the recently retired one, not the pretender) has 2 for that stat. When I did the Copa Libertadores with Corinthians, he was rarely above blue (arrow).

Also, have you been turning down offers left right and centre for these players?
I'm guessing not, if you have just signed them. What I experience with the last game, is that if you sign a player on loan, from a club he is very unhappy at, he will stay unhappy for his duration with you. In the last game, I initially signed Maguire (young Scottish winger) on loan. He was always on purple or blue arrows.... because he was unhappy at his parent club. In the next season, I signed him on a permanent, and he was fine.

You can't change it. i.e Inter's Adriano has a form value of 2 or 3 so it's VERY rare that you will see his form in green or yellow!
That's why you should always check a player's form before you decide to sign him up. Who wants a great player on his team who you know he will sit down almost the whole season? ;)
