It's when the computer prompts you with an Information telling you about Value Points. I think you can find it somewhere in the Tips section..

Just had a look. I'm not sure what it is. Probably that amount of points you get in certain positions if you do your job properly?

No it's not the salary. Go tips you see it there.

It says:

The criteria for the value of points displayed at the end of a match differ depending on the position of your player. Think about what your jobs are as a player in your specific position.

oh thats the skills that are mainly needed for your position, say wingers.. have higher speed to start, and stuff like that, its not something you can choose, its what skill you would need in the position you play i think.
