virtua tennis or top spin?

i want to buy a tennis game for ps3 and iam confused what i buy between virtua tennis 2009 or top spin??

I've heard from two guys I know who have it that VT 2009 isn't much of an upgrade from the previous version. The career on it has such players as Mike Jones (white) from Angola too. It makes it sound buggy and unrealistic.

Still, if you're looking for tennis knock-about fun, go for VT, if you want more real to life tennis, go for TS.

As a tennis fan, then Top Spin 3 definitely. Although, as Baddar says, Virtua Tennis is more like an arcade game and therefore easier to get into.

I'd go for Top Spin 3. It's a lot more realistic than Virtua Tennis. However, like what has already been said, Virtua Tennis is very fun to play, easy to get into and a great laugh to play with mates.

Top Spin 3 is the FIFA of tennis.
Virtua Tennis is the PES of tennis.

What do you prefer? FIFA or PES?

Top Spin = Gran Turismo/Forza

Virtua Tennis = Burnout/Need for Speed

I'd go for Top Spin 3, sure its got a steep learning curve, but one you get into it, you will love it. I feel playing Virtua after a period of time (quite short) will become extremely repetitive.
