For the people who are saying the PS3 will be technoligically superior to the Xbox 360, you're wrong. Both consoles have similar specs with the only exception being the built-in Blu-ray drive in the PS3.
And for those who are saying that PS3 games will cost in excess of £50, wrong again.
A Single Layer Blu-ray disc (BD-R) currently costs around $25 in the US (which is around £14 according to xe.com).
Add to that the manufacturing costs and you'll find that the price will not exceed £44.99. Just like it did for the early PS2 games when the blank DVD was new technology.
What and pay another £150 for an add-on? No thanks. :angry:
I say let Sony iron out the Blu-Ray drive's deficiencies - it'll benefit the consumer in the long run. I don't wanna sound like a Sony fanboy but I really don't like how Microsoft are forcing the gadget freaks amongst us to fork out another £150 for something they already paid £300+ plus for. It's just not right. :no:
