hi guys,

i have an ancient v1 ps2 which just flies through lasers... it doesn't seem to read dvd's very well... in fact, any time i take a free kick in the game, it freezes. I was hoping to make a cdrip of this game (hopefully it'll read my cd's better). Would it be possible to make the game fit onto a 700mb cd? If possible the only thing i'd like to rip is the spanish commentary files, and any unnecessary video (such as the opening scene before you get into the menu). I refuse to part with any of the english commentary hehe. I have the image backed up to my hard drive. Any help is appreciated on how i could do this.

hmm there's one for we9 jap with videos and commentary ripped, with background music resampled... would it be possible to rip video and background music, and leave one language commentary still in there?

Well since it doesn't look like anybody will be releasing a rip kit for the u.s. i took matters into my own hands and played around with some of the files. If i rip every other language except for english out, as well as the background music, intro video, and sound effects, the game gets down to 700mb flat. There are only 2 problems... 1) i don't know how to do any of this so that the game will actually work properly, 2) i don't want to lose the sound effects... could i downsample them as well as the english commentary and still keep it close to 700mb?
