WANTED. Ps3 PES09 online respect worthy players!

If like me, you're online ps3 PES 09 experiences have been ruined by opponents who pick a top team, then proceed to run, with a super hero like player, straight to your goal and score from the kick off, and follow this tedious pattern throughout the game, this is the place for you! All i want is to be able to enjoy a game online, win, lose or draw, to decent people who want to play virtual FOOTBALL. Now, football is a team sport. It requires passing the ball around to your team mates, looking for openings, and devising thoughtful skills in order to score goals. It is NOT, however, about being a selfish, super human individual player, who runs like a whippet from one end of the pitch to the other, and scores every single time, using the same method. I just thought maybe players could come here, exchange our game ids, and possibly our Ps3 ids, so we can easily contact one another whenever we fancy having a good, fun, competitive and fair game of beloved Pro evo, with like minded players. I dont mind losing, i just do to cheating b....rds!! Anyone interested, my konami game id is RobotRodney and ps3 id is FinalStrawBoy.

You do whatever it takes to win. If it was really that easy to take a super player and run the length of the pitch then that would be a major, major flaw in the game. You just need to learn the right techniques to defend against them mate, it's not impossible.

Look left for PS is. Not tried online yet but plan to later this week/weekend. I love the pass & move game (& the odd trick..) I dont consider myself a bad player really, i.e., i can beat the com on top player more often than not. Next time i play one of those repetitive idiots online, ill maybe adopt a 6, 4 formation!

So much for my attempt at gettin a few players together for some decent games online! Cheers guys! All i wanted was some friends t play pro with now an again, none of my mates have even got ps3s, never mind pro evo, when you get to my age, 35, you will get the picture. Think ill go back to Motorstorm for my online kicks!

When i get the full game in a day or 2 i'll be straight online and as long as it works okay i'll be up for some games. My online id is Trigglebeef.

As for stopping the pace men, just back off and protect the space they;re running in to, and hold square to bring in a CPU controlled player to try and tackle them. Even if the CPU player doesn't take the ball off them, it should put them off enough for you to come in and nick it away from them.

I'll give you a game, I'm also sick of these guys who automatically pick the top teams. The only time I've played someone not using a top team is when I played one of my mates, as we do it for fun.

Definitely up for a game or two mate, I always thought playing the game online was meant to be fun and a bit of a laugh... But most people these days seem to be more concerned with winning at all costs even if it involves employing the same boring and repetitive tactic again and again.

Excellent, cheers guys, feel free to contact one another an play amongst yourselves, as having a wife doesnt help me get on my ps3 as much as id like. I usually get an hour at least squashed in somewhere every day! This is all i wanted, a place people can exchange ids and set up some good games. And its great t see some people willing to avoid the top teams. So if your opponent picks Blackburn or whatever, be decent an dont pick bloody Barcelona!
