Every single footballer in England is over-rated due to the press. Beckham is a leader, anyone who says different doesn't know anything about football. Keane is a leader, just because Keane is more vocal and moans at everyone else doesn't make him more of a leader than Beckham. Beckham and Owen have carried England for a few games now, Gerrard has also played well, but is still not reaching the potential that he has. However not one of these players i've mentioned are in the same league as Zidane, Figo, Shevchenko, Van Nistelrooy, except maybe Owen, his record speaks for itself. It's because they are over-rated, as is every single player that plays in England.
