NTSC to PAL

Just save the file to your hard drive. Then, right click on it and select Open With-->Choose Program-->Winrar Archiver. Then click extract to and extract the files to your hard drive.

Simpler way to download is by these mirrors:

Unrar and follow instructions.

Or a simpler way to get NTSC games in colour is to buy a good scart cable like this one:

From personal experience I think that making a P/N launcher is a good idea, especially since it's not 100% that the patch works. There is a list over the games that do and games that don't work wit this patch, you can probably find it in the readme file. WE10 does work (tested it my self).

There's a even better PAL to NTSC encoder:

http://www.megaupload.com/pt/?d=3L8JA97C

I've used this with the WE10 image and works fine
The pros of this encoder over the other is that it correct the image size wich with other encoder become bigger than the tv size..

Works greatly... At least with all the games I tried it did...

Also it has NTSC to PAL...

Cheers!

Does anyone think that playing a game on 50hz or 6ohz makes a difference to the actual game? coz whenever i play PES5 i use both options, sometimes 50 & sometimes 60...but it seems at 50hz the players are skinny and tall, whereas 60hz theyre smaller and fatter-and the game seems to be a lot faster?

Thanks, however the problem you're talking about doesn't really occure when NTSC-> Pal if you do the Y-Fix. The only problem is when you PAL->NTSC. This is because PAL has more height resolution (more lines) than NTSC. If the PAL game is not fullscreen (has 2 small black bars at top and bottom) then it may be possible to watch the whole picture in NTSC.
But if it automatically corrects the image when PAL->NTSC instead of you having to change it manually, then it's definitely better.

Yes there is a difference due to the change in the screen height but I think the main difference is the speed of the game in both resolutions.

I used to play PES4 on 60Hz but went to a few tournaments where the tvs were set to 50 and found the difference a bit off-putting so i've played on 50 since then.

Some say 50 is faster and some say 60 is faster. I think it depends on your TV. From their names, 60Hz would be faster but it doesn't always seem that way.

I never tried the Pal to Ntsc since my PS2 is the american type (NTSC), only Pal to Ntsc, and it automatically corrects the image, as you asked...

I did. Well the program surely does look well kinda exactly the same. However the creator of the program (at least in the readme) is different, and has a site with a list of which games work with PAL->NTSC. But I think yes, it will work if you use this program.

So does this work for older WE games aswell? And does it work for other NTSC games? And if it does work for other NTSC titles, whic ones have been patched successfully?

I mean, I've never had any aesthetical problems in playing NTSC games but the thing that annoys me the most is the constant bleeping sound in the background.

It would be great if I could play my NTSC games in PAL so to completely eradicate the bleeping sound.

I hate to burst everyones bubble here but this patch didn't work for me. :erm:

I downloaded and tried patching my WE10 from NTSC to PAL but it didn't take.

I still have an NTSC signal. :(

I am not réally sure about the sound thingy (never noticed any beeping) but it does work for most of the NTSC games. All the times I've tried to patch it only a few games didn't work e.g. WE9. I have a list somwhere, I can try finding it later on, since my PC is real messy :(
