Hi,

Was looking at Eurogamer site this morning and came across this intersting update/patch for saints row. Fixing alot of offline issues as well as loads of issues on multiplayer online too (link below, take a look!)....... it says "the update will run automatically next time you run the game" AND it appears to be FREE.....

WE WANT THIS FOR PES6!!!!!!! Online games fixed, updated edit, save replays....etc, etc you know the rest....

Come on Konami.... surely you could do a patch to update known issues in PES6

What d'ya think about this, should Konami do this, it sounds easy enough to do, a simple update/patch when you next run the game???

It should be easier enough for Konami to do it. Do you reckon there may be some sort of reason why they couldn't update or add the edit and stuff on the 360 version? Maybe a clause in contract with Sony Playstation? Only reason I can think of for binning half the features?

Because maybe switching to next-gen technology took longer than they thought....So maybe they took out features that aren't vital to the game.
Or maybe the new technology was harder to adapt the game too...theres alot of reasons and i doubt a Sony contract clause is the reason as I'm sure there was full edit mode on PES 5 on x-box.

Theres a reason why we havn't had a patch. These guys are experts in the gaming industry, they knew exactly how long the conversion would take. Im not buying that excuse

I doubt that they knew how long it would take as it was the first PES on xbox360....look at the early PES games back when they were released and PES 6 now on PS2...It takes time to adapt you know.

I agree with you there, maybe they did underestimate the time it would take. If that was the case I would have rather waited longer for the release if it meant transfers and stadiums where included. I really don't think a patch is coming out though? I dont want it to sound like I don't like the game though as I think its quality, just a little frustrating to have sh*t missing.

The 360 is very simple to program for, apparently. For me it one of two reasons:

1. Sony want to damage the image of the 360, so they've got Konami on their side. PES is a game that many people bought Playstations just to play - Sony want to keep it that way.

2. Konami are going to sell back all the missing features to us on Xbox Live.

I think the first is more likely.

A patch is definitely coming out according to these 2 sites....

....as you say John4, it probably will take time, especially as they probably won't want to annoy 360 owners any more than they already have.
