WE10 - crosses and goalkeeprs dont mix

so i expressed disatisfaction in goalkeeping, (in my first pes10 demo match my opponent CPU scored an own goal with a back pass that the keeper failed to 'retrieve' until it had crossed the line)

and in WE10 demo the keepers fail to deal with a balll across the box, watch my video below?

i appreciate that it is not the latest build but you would have thought that goalkeepers would be pretty high ont he priority list to fix. does anyone find this level of goalkeeping unsatisfactory or is it just me? this was on the 2nd to top difficulty level as well;/

note i post this out of frustration it is the first time i have come back to the we10 demo after leaving it for a good few days. this has happened inside like the first half of my first match back/ its frustrating because the ball was travelling at about 1 mile per hour and buffon could just side step and watch:no:

granted, its not very good. But to be honest mate, the goalkeepers have been improved since 09, but inevitably there are still going to be problems every now and then.

If your looking for a footy game with bug free keeper, i;m afraid it doesn't exist. Fifas keepers can be shocking! There are some videos on youtube which show some unbelievable problems with the keepers on the game, so i wouldn't be too mad with Konami

thing is though, at least in fifa they have some decent animations. In PES sometimes its so disatisfying scoring cos the keeper just waves a limp arm at the ball and it floats past his face.
i find it really disappointing considering how good the game is looking.
never mind the game looks brilliant otherwise.

LOL - god damn the keeper is not looking good. Not even trying as you mention.
I know people are talking about an early build and stuff. But to be realistic, how much do we think that they actually have time to fix, and how much do we think that they actually think themselves that needs to be fixed...? :no:

When you watch a vid of a full length match most crosses are cleared. A few get through but even then it doesnt mean goal. In these vids everyone seems to have a personal goal to try and put as many crosses in as they physically can without getting arthritis from pressing cross so much.

I have sat there with my controller in hand watching a vid (sad i know) to try and get a better feeling of what its like to play and practically everything the guy playing did i tried not to. You really have to play the game for yourself. Most of the people im watching play, play completely differently to what i try and do. I am more of a quick passer and close people down imedietly. I try and score wonder goals constantly but in the vids everyone has their fifa hats on and try to score a 6 yard tap in.

had another demo match the cpu scored 3 goals, all crosses 2 headers 1 volley, keeper never saw them

since when were headers the new rifled goal?

in real life headers go over, wide, or are saved very often. pn PES because you do not need to control the power in the same way you would a notmal shot, it is much easier to score them. coupled with bad AI defendering and marking plus really bad goalies, and you have a recipe for a game where 80% of the goals are from crosses on the wing:/

this pains me as my pes mate scores the majority of goals from headers, and it gets frustrating because as soon as he gets the ball down the wing you can almost guarantee a goal... getting the ball on the edge of the 12 yard box is not such a high chance of scoring:/
