WHats new:

when the reached week 31 at end of the cup on D2.

Its tested now by me and ortegaman. We played it all the way,
take hours but done it and it WORKS 100%.

CONSIDERATIONS:

- YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE YOUR OPTION FILE.
- YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE YOUR MASTER LEAGUE SAVEGAME. SORRY.
IT PROBABLY HAS DATA THAT HANGS THE GAME. TRY AND SEE WHAT
HAPPENS BEFOR DELETE THE SAVE.
- YOU WILL HAVE TO START ALL MASTER LEAGUE AGAIN.


WHAT I'VE TESTED:

- MASTER LEAGUE TO THAT POINT WITH ORIGINAL TEAMS AND REAL TEAMS.

- SAY YOU HAVE AN OLD SAVE GAME OF ML, YOU CAN TEST IT WITH A
NEW IMAGE AND -NO- OPTION FILE. IF IT WAS DONE WITH A PARA WITH
NO PROBLEMS IT WILL WORK. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE GO AND TEST IT.

- A SCREWED ML SAVE FILE, EVEN WITH NO OPTION FILE LOADED, WON'T
WORK ALSO IN A 100% JAPANESE IMAGE. NOR I A PATCHED IMAGE WITH
ORIGINAL JAP PARA FILES.


ABOUT THE BUG:

It seems the problem is the transfers. Not 100% sure, but for what i've
been told its the most possible situation that causes the problem. In fact,
all the people working on databases and using tools *could*, most likely,
have a problem.

At the moment, only DKZ Studio is able to open the DB. But doesnt have
100% compatibility with we10 it seems, and also could have a bad
configuration in the tables. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM or to start people
blame Abscroll, he has done a superb job doing One-for-all editing needs
tool for us. And free. So if hes gonna update it or not in the future i don't
know. And please, don't bother him asking for new releases.
He will do when he wants or can.


The thing is, its all people can do at the moment. Im not into DB editing so
I dunno if there a way to do it better by hexediting only, like reefur use to
do. It all depends on you people to start working on it, or wait.
And i mean patience.

What we have is all product of good will in the community. Enjoy it as it is.


If you don't like... well im sorry.
We all work as much as we can to bring all of you what we done.

Im sorry to say this, but in any case you can start learning hex editing,
etc, etc, and do you own if all of other wont suit your needs.

But remember, its just a game, and its all done for hobby.

Looks great. Is there any chance of getting just this options file? It's much less hassle than re-ripping/patching/burning the game again, if you already have a mostly translated game, and all you care about is the player, team and stadium names.

This is just a translation patch that only changes the ingame text. A Mix patch updates much more than this patch. Wait for a newer mix patch that includes this translation patch.

No there is no way to get this onto an option file. If there was, don't you think it would already be available as an option file? Can an option file change the text of a game? No.

That's not what I mean. For those that are satisfied with the old Fernando patch, and who just want the updated names only an option file is needed. Deleting your old option file before you use this patch, will start a new option file with all the english names. This file could then be taken from the memory card and reuploaded using Action Replay MAX or something.

Sorry to be a pain but by burning this patch to disc does it mean every bit of data in the game is in English? So i delete option file before loading this then save a new option file. Cheers

Almost all of the ingame text is changed from Japanese to English. All of what you need to play the game will be in English. You don't necessarily have to delete your current option file. Just try yours and see how it is. And try playing the game without a memory card to see if that is any better. If it is then delete your option file and let the patched game make a new one.

- New design ( Anfield Road, Highbury Park, old trafford, St James Park, Stamford Bridge, san siro, ...)
- New adboards ( fifa world cup germany 2006, philips, mc donalds, avaya, continental, yahoo, toshiba, mastercard, hyundai, fly emirates, adidas +10, T com, ...)
- Real Adboards Stadio delle Alpi, San Siro, ...

This is the final translation patch he will release as far as I know.
For the other stuff you have to wait for a bigger mix patch.
