Maybe they are calling it "WEPES 2007" for americans to get used to the "PES" name and then in future releases just remove the "WE" and then only call it PES so that finally we can get only one release title for all the world...

I hope thats the case. Im sick of playing these brazil whoring, cheaply scoring mexicans and south americans online. And for some reason, the PES just looks different, but in a better way(IE- more space on the field).

not necceasarily,as many will call we10 pes6 jus to get hits,i noticed that on ebay.also theres supposed to be no talk of programs like that!but since we are only on we10 pes6 and there wont be another installment till next year,only jap updates of we10,it is highly unlikley!
