[WE10] What exactly does Master League difficulty do?

I wanted to start on ML, but I don't want to start before I figure out what exactly does the second set of difficulty do? (Master League difficulty)
Does anyone know?

the first one is for the actual League difficulty, the second is for Tournament difficulty

Um... on the fernando patch. it says the master league difficulty (not match difficulty) has something to do with fatigue and players growth. Im just wonder in what ways does it affect them.

when you're starting, theres 2 things which ask for your level...one for tournament and one for matches...I put both to 6*, then it asks you if hidden/classic players can be used, then it asks about something else to do with whether players age or not(whether some retire, others grow)
