WE7: NTSC to PAL Patch

is there a WE7: NTSC to PAL Patch available yet?

or any links on how to make a NTSC to PAL patch?

also can someone confirm this regarding playing WE7 on a PAL system:
I have no mod chip but I can get an Action Replay v2..
WE7 backup + ARv2 + Knife/Flip top method = It will work?

Mmost people here play WE7 on PAL. The worst that happens is that the game works but plays in black & white. This is fixed by getting an approptiate scart cable such as the one from:

let me get this straight.. I will be able to play WE7(Jap/NTSC) on my PS2 (PAL system) using ARv2 (thats wat i got now, no mod chip) and a backup of WE7? it will work but picture will Black and White?

btw I dont have a TV with a SCART connection it's RCA or S-Video so I dont have the option to use the Scart Cable

But! I do have a TV Tuner card which I normally plug the PS2 thru (S-Video) so I can play on monitor.. cud this TV tuner help in converting NTSC to PAL in some way?

otherwise guess will have to wait till someone makes a WE7 NTSC 2 PAL patch like WE6FE..

help needed..

I burnt a copy of WE7 using Nero..swapped it with ARv2 disk after it loaded but it just freezes..the disk spins a lil bit (not very fats compared to normal) then it just freezes..

meebe i shud use cdrwin ?


also when i swap disk with my PAL PES2 that also freezes..am i doing something wrong with ARv2 or does it need to be reset..
ARv2 did come with a Neo key but it is not compatible with my version PS2 (v7)

any ideas much appreciated.

Burn it with alchohol 120%. It works Fine with that. Use the playstation2 burn fucntion. Its possible that you didnt select RAW mode in burning options. Heres my cuesheet:

Booting an import game will not work by using a AR2 on its own. Maybe eventually this message will get through to you. You need to use one of the 5 methods to make import games work. Geddit?

you may use a hard disk on your ps2. that's what I did, I am not prepared to let anyone dismantle the ps that I paid alot of money for, so what did I do, I bought a network adaptor, hdloader/hdadvance; and now i can play my backups, my imports, and ino coaster DVDs

This may have been a bit before the hard drive was known to be used like this.
