Can the name's of the players be changed
to english with an xport option file?

There's one for WE6FE on showusamiricle.com that changes
the kits and a few other things and the players name's.

I thought u needed to patch the game for the name change?

The standard version of the game will be in Japanese with the edit mode text all in Jap too.

The patches of WE6:FE haven't translated the alphabet in edit mode. So I guess maybe they won't allow us to change the names for WE7 unless they change the alphabet.

You have to be careful with option files for FE as all the different patches have different teams and players which will be overwritten. Eg if the option file is for English Evolution and you try it on wedoit 3.0, all the club players names will be those of premiership and div 1 players with their appropriate stats, but playing for madrid, milan etc.

I'm not sure if an english option file will work on the original Jap version of the game. Worth trying out I guess. Will try it later.

I have the jap version of we6fe and i put it in to see what it was like and the names where in jap so when i got the option file from
showusamiricle, it changed the names to English!

I done it without any other option file saved on the memory card!
