B. Newbie Tutorial:

1. Create an ISO image Of your original WE8LE DVD using DVD Decrypter (DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0)

2. Create a new folder & name it WE8LE

3. Using ISOBuster (IsoBuster 1.7), Extract the ISO image to that folder

4. Unzip KF-RipKit to the same folder

5. Open WE8LE folder, & run WE8_LE_Rip_Engine.exe then click on DVD/ISO button

6. A black screen will pop up & the program will extract, move, downsample files & do alotta shit... Just leave it till it ends. (Process time depends on your PC spec.)

7. When the program is done, it generates this file KF_WE8LE.iso, you will find in the same folder.

8. Run CDRWin (CDRWin 3.9K-E), Click on [FILE BACKUP AND TOOLS] (its 2nd button from the right)

9. From the first menu Backup or Tool Operation select [Record an ISO9660 / UDF Image file]

10. Down at the buttom From [ISO9660 / UDF Image Options] --> [Image File], browse to your WE8LE folder & choose the image file KF_WE8LE.iso

11. Load a blank CD in your recorder

12. Now click on START on your right, & wait a second

13. Another window shows up with options:
A. Change the following:
Disc Type: [CDROM] --> [CDROM-XA]
Track Mode: [Mode1] --> [MODE2]
SPEED: [MAX] --> [4X]
B. Check [Finalize/close Session] & [Write Postgap]

14. Now click Record Disc, & wait untill your CD is burned.

15. Enjoy your GAME!!

Ok, now I have tested this & it did work, but there are some known issues:
1. The game will freeze only if you goto Sound Settings (i.e. in the middle of a match, but not in Mode Select), so in case to avoid that, YOU HAVE to change the COMMENTARY LANGUAGE (Mode Select --> Options --> Commentary) to whatever langauge you already choose for this RipKit.
2. If you have an option file & it loaded, AGAIN dont forget to change the COMMENTARY LANGUAGE.

By the way, this RipKit should work fine with PATCHED DVDz, cuz I used it with Fernando's v3.0 Patched DVD, & the DVD-Rip worked just fine.

PS. Parts of this tutorial are based on an old one for Winning eleven 8, By fallen angel.

You cannot patch the cd version right now until patches for the cd version are released. For the time being, just patch your original DVD image.

Had a go at trying this ripkit on a gangsta patched DVD image.
Got stuck trying to rip the J_Sound part - although I didn't fully understand the half-translated spanglish. My resulting image was too big to burn onto CD.
Back to the drawing board... hoping for a clearer translation or a better ripkit.

Hopefully this is easier to follow:

1. create 2 folders; 1. we8le and 2. rip tools

2. download the hole packet from SHAKAXL to the rip tools folder (download all !!!)

3. create a iso (with dvddecrypter or isobuster or apache..) from the orgiginal game and patch the hole iso with the gangsta patch, fix 1.1, fix 1.2 and the fix 1.3 (in this order...)

4. extract the iso with isoburner or apache or dvddecrypter to the folder we8le

5. extraxt the tools in the rip tools folder

6. install dkz studio from the rip tools folder restart the pc, start dkz studio...a meassage appears if you like to update the prog, say yes and you get the english up-to-date dkz studio version with we8le support.

7. open dkz studio and follow the instructions in the tutorial from this point off --> 3.PASO: WHEN IT FINISHES THE LST WE MARKED ALL ADX ASI: (start with o_sounds then j_sounds) --> for destination i choose the the root from my d:\ partion!

8. wait about 30 min or longer it depends how fast your pc is...

9. when the ripping of the sound files is over, copy the two new o_sound and j_sound to the rip tools folder to --> KITRIPWE8LE_BY_SHAKAXL

10. then copy from the rip tools folder the files where are in the KITRIPWE8LE_BY_SHAKAXL folder (the 5 *_sounds and the new o_sound and j_sound files) in the we8le folder, press yes to overwrite.

11. close dkz studio and open pscdvdcheck 1.31

12. the prog ask you about the destination folder of we8le... choose we8le

13. mark the 3 files who are visible --> feegagui.elf, ntgui2jp.elf and slm_657.88 --> enter

14. now you should see the 3 files in the mask

15. mark --> parchear para functionar en cd --> THEN press PARCHEAR !

16. open cdgenPS2.exe

17. open the folder where your pached iso is --> in our options, it is the we8le folder.

18. all files appears in the programm

19. press the button IMG !!! choose a destination, wait about a half hour...that's all folks !!!

the file should be about 704 mb! open cdrwin and burn the bin file with the backup function... cdrwin will say that the image is to big, THAT DOESNT MATTER !!!!! burn it and enjoy it... works fine for me...if some one want the ripped files (o_sound and j_sound), PM please...

Using rafau's guide alongside the original one, I have managed to figure it all out.
I will post an extremely easy guide on how to rip the game in the next couple of days.

I'm playing Gangsta patch with updates on a CD!
