Hey guys, I've been reading the posts for about a month and could not wait to get the game! Here in America, it probably will not come out until Feb. 2005. So I ordered a Japan PS2 and WE8 from Play Asia. My question is will a American memory card work with a Japan PS2? I thought a American controller will work on a Japan PS2, so I assume a Memory Card will too. But as you can tell I'm not sure. Anybody know? Thanks!
On a side note, I'd like to thank all the people that had posts in the ..."WE8 box art thread" Especially DannyBoy and Riot for all the cool news. This being my first post, I hope it's not my last as I await my order so I can get in on all the fun.

Hi Keith.
A European memory card works fine with Japanese games as well as American games. So I guess all mem cards are the same type. For the mem card to work with games is one thing and if it will work on a foreign PS2 is another. My guess is that the mem card and controllers will work fine. Let us know how it goes.
And check the power settings for the PS2 power cable. Not sure if they'll be differen.

voltage are always different. but it will be different if bought over there. i think it will work fine since you are ordering it and you are in the States so they may change it for you. i know this type of stuff because my friend have a PS2 that he bought when he was in vietnam. it didnt work until it was modify at a gameshop. so hope your PS2 is pre-modified for ya.

Yeah best thing he can get is a universal adapter.On different subject that guy on the clip really has a knack for getting red cards.

In fairness I wouldnt WANT the AI to do too much stuff like that, because it doesn thappen too much in real football.
WHY OH WHY do they seem, from what I hear, to have screwed up the kit editors? Apparently there aren't any templates with genuine vertical or horizontal stripes? How the hell can they have actually taken templates AWAY? I don't see how it can be a problem with the engine or something, and I don't see why they neglect this so much! You can't make kits half decently for teams like Celtic, Newcastle and so on.. seems like a biggy for such an easy thing to have. I mean, in PES3 Celtics basic kit was like ONE hoop for some reason, but at least you could change that acceptably - it sounds like now you can't? HOW ANNOYING!
PLEASE get this sorted out a bit before PES4? Cant be too much to add, surely?

The CPU doesn´t perform many tricks, but they play very balanced, when it´s necessary they dribble and when it´s necessary they pass, cross, shoot etc. The AI has improved really, it´s quite hard to win against top-teams like Real or Arsenal, they´re very dangerous in the offense, one little mistake from the defender and they score, even on 4*. It´s very challenging.
