Of course it´s better than PES3. But it has slowdowns, depends on you, if it doesn´t hurt you to have slowdowns when taking a corner then go for it. Otherwise wait for PES4 and hope that Konami fixes the problems till October.

Well, I know it has slowdowns but I believe it doesn't affect the gameplay that much. PES3 had stuttering, everbody said, but my copy didn't. Only when I played it in 60 HZ, it had some stuttering. So now I play it on 50 HZ and I've never seen it again.

I think I'll buy both versions, pray to god it doesn't affect the gameplay. BTW How does Ajax look in the game, anyone knows?

PES3 stutters are nothing compared to the slowdowns in WE8. It´s quite annoying, but FOR ME it doesn´t spoil the gameplay, I mean, there are maybe 5 corners in every match, means 5 slowdowns for about 3 seconds.
I´ve played one match with Ajax, won 2-1 at Eindhoven, Sonck and van der Vaart scored. They seem to have decent stats, the golden away kits look superb.

I played it this morning and I can feel something different when I play and I dont know what it is however . Its pretty tough on 3*, Ive only played 2 games and scored one goal. Its going to take a while to tame this beast.

Anyone know what the first japanese screen that pops up is on about?? Is it for choosing display rates, or for saving your first option file to memory card or what?

haven´t paid attention to it, shorts and socks get dirty definately, not sure about shirts.

Well I have a good idea. Make your video under 1024kb, then rename it so the extension is .jpg and upload it to http://www.imageshack.us/. So say the film is called skill1.mpg, change it to skill1.jpg, then upload, and post the link. After we download it, we rename it to skill1.mpg and it will work!

you could upload it to lomungtung´s ftp as well
advantage: you can make it as big as you want
disadvantage: slow download, which doesn´t matter for smaller movies, like 5mb, but is quite annoying when you want to upload a whole match

Similarly, I though there was substitution animations but i cant see them either.

Need to get used to it, also weird playing a WE game without a patch on it lol.

No power bar for chipped through balls.

There are sub animations, but they don't happen for every substitution.


I've seen about 4 different score boards so far, they change depending on what cup you're in, nice touch
