Update, 1 June 2005:

WEman said:
Alright everyone heres the fix, sorry about the delay as testing wasnt going to well and i have had problems getting the J_Text in the patch the to return to original size as it doesnt see it as corrupt. I wanted to make this fix ppf as well, so it would be easy for everyone to apply, but the smallest ppf i can make is 333 MB (349,580,477 bytes) :( so i have chose to release another DkZ patch with the files needed to fix original patch. Altho very tempted i have also not chose to include up to date transfers and kits as most people can insert these if they wish, but now its fixed i will be looking to add new transfers and kits in a future release.

Contents of the fix includes -

Ball names.
Team names redone.
Stadium names.
New stadium added over the new online stadium.(Deva Stadium - Chester City)
All stadiums now assigned to proper teams.
Many player numbers, shirt names and team formations fixed.
Some pitch textures have also been updated.
Crashing bug in player settings and cup has been fixed.
Database has been reworked and fixed (should be no more Autrian GKs in database :p).

Errors that still remain are -
Radar - Radar colours can not be assigned correctly to all the teams kit colours.
Some appearances may still be wrong due to the conversion of the database from PES4.

WE8LE British Premier Patch 2004&05 (fix)

How to apply the patch to DVD version -

1) You will have to install DkZ Studio 0.81b (or newer version) which i have provided with the original patch.

2) Make an iso of your Original WE8LE DVD (SIZE - 2.31 GB (2,490,499,072 bytes)) and place a copy of the WE8LE.iso in a folder of its own on your HD.

3) Open DkZ Studio 0.81b and open the WE8LE_British_Premier_Patch_2004&05.dkz (482 MB (505,907,200 bytes)), untick the J_Text in DkZ, then choose Apply in Image file and select the WE8LE.iso you have placed in the folder.

4) Now select to apply it to DVD, while the patch is applying it may display warnings about descriptors table, just click ok for all them. After a while the process will be finished.

5) Now open the WE8LE_British_Premier_Patch_2004&05_(fix).dkz (13.5 MB (14,184,448 bytes)) and again choose Apply in Image file and select the WE8LE.iso you have placed in the folder.

6) When process is finished, close the update patch and open the WE8LE.iso that you have applied the patches too in DkZ and insert the fixed J_TEXT.AFS, OVER.AFS and SLPM_657.88 which i have included with the fix.

Can people stop asking questions about changing individual aspects of the game in patch threads. Check in General Editing for into or ask in there.

And it's great to know that people are helpful enough to download stuff for themselves but can't even be bothered to share the patch into with others.

This patch looks absolutely stunning, looks like a fantastic job from what I can see here behind my computer screen.
I shall try and get it as soon as possible.

Ryder Style

The Star Player
Yeah it does look very good, its a different patch to reefur's but is equally impressive. Not sure how many times I would like to play with Yeovil though...

Hunter

BELIEVE
Is there any possible way of adding a wooden floor pitch to it, like there is on some other patches around here....

EDIT: And snow if possible....

Zygalski

Administrator
Yes there is a way to insert everything you've seen. If the insertion method is not already posted in General Editing, it will be soon enough.

Hunter

BELIEVE
Ok, thanks a lot mate.
Once I add the wooden floor and the snow pitch on it along with my own bootpack, shit will be poppin'.

Cannot wait now like, shall be fun.

This patch is realy a nice one!
I've got one question: I feel that with this patch, the game plays a bit faster! Somebody knows why this is, or how this come?

Thanks for the patch!!

A few people have noticed that the gameplay is different with this patch. Not sure exactly why this is.

During a match, make sure you don't go to the player settings option or the game will freeze/crash.

has nayone else tried this with a hard disk, i cant get it to go past the addidas screen, it just goes black, im gonna try burning it to see if that works, if not i guess i must have patched it wron, so ill start again.

i can confirm that this patch DOES NOT work with a hard disk. sometimes games just dont for some reason, and this is one of those. its funny cause WE8,WE8LE, and WE8LE-Ole all worked with mode 3 enabled, this one doesnt though, so i guess its gotta be played from dvd. still cool though
