I know it sounds silly but i have since used the sunjun patch and the shooting seems fine, there just seems to be no power in the shots using reefyrs patch, they just seem to float past or over. I,ve got to say that reefurs patch really does look the business with all the menus, music, leagues and balls but i wish the strips were as good as on sunjuns patch. these 2 teams should get together and make a super patch.

Well i've played both and didn't notice any difference mate sorry, I don't how their could be as all they tweaked were attack and defence stats (sorry forgot about this in my last post) they didn't touch shooting stats though. So I don't know why your getting this problem......strange :unsure:

yeah it is strange. i really want reefurs to play as well as sunjuns and ole's coz it looks so good and professionally done. the strips are abit dodgy with the fold marks on some and the boot pack isnt the best but everything else seems spot on. whats your prefered patch billsterno?

Well to be honest I combined the both LOL I put sunjun's database into Reefurs patch. It works good but you can't use your old option file, but I'm ok cos I started my master league before I added sunjuns DB so I don't need anything unlocked anyway. Try doing this mate

Can somebody be kind enough to explain what i have to do with the 12 RAR files i just downloaded, it's confusing, they all have a PPF files in them, which one do you choose to patch?

I have noticed shooting and turning problems on 'TVs' themselves believe it or not.
Whenever I'm at my dads, I have a tele thats a decent size (19-21inch) but is reletively old to say the least. And when I play WE8:LE the whole gamplay seems to be somewhat 'slow'. The shooting and turning etc..
But when I use the more modern tele in the Living Room which is also bigger I might add it works perfectly fine when coping with the speed of the actual game.
I think some of it is to do with the tele's as well as the patches but I'm sure the shooting can't be tweaked as its gameplay. The only way that it could have been slightly changed is if he modified 'Shooting Stats' themselves but I very much doubt he would have done that..


EDIT: Does anyone happen to know when the 1.0 patch will be finished ?

also...what version of replay max do you have? you can check on the underside of your disk...around the centre you will see some tiny writing with the version number. i have 3.32. i was asked this by datel themselves when i complained to them that my son had lost all his saved games. all they did was apologise.

I don't jave replay max... I only have 2 small discs. one for pc (Max Drive usb flash disc) wich doesn't work at all!!!! and another one (Max Drive usb flash disc for playstation 2)...

Make sure there all in one folder and unrar part 1 only this will give you the ppf file that you apply to a clean iso image of the game with ppf-o-matci

All you have to do mate is open the sunjun ISO with DKZ Studio DKZ Studio then extract the SLPM file (this is your .exe file).

Then open the 0_TEXT.AFS file and extract the unknow_00017.str to your desktop and rename it para_we8.bin. Then You can edit it with the database editor in DKZ studio.

Then when your happy save and rename it unknow_00017.str and insert it in Reefurs 0_TEXT.AFS/unknow_00017 file and then rebuild the file and resize it with afs explorer so it is the same size as the one in reefur's patch. Then import it over the 0_TEXT.AFS in the reefur ISO and voila burn to dvd. Job done

Sorry no, Reefur hasn't gave a time yet. So it's a case of just being patient I'm afraid

ok problem already mate. extracted the 2 files and went into database editor but i get a message "error opening para_we8.bin". any ideas? the iso i'm usind has the original sunjun patch and the 3rd fix on it, could that cause a problem?

That's strange ti shouldn't LOL. Try using mine Sunjun para_we8.bin
