I'm using 1.50 and how can I create a new project with CD/DVDgen version 1.50. And I have already change the O_Text file on DKZ Studio.

Have you patched CD/DVDgen ?

If so run it, let's see if it's working correctly...

Click 'start' on desktop then 'All Programs',
in programs list select 'CD_DVD Generator 1.50',
in it's dropdown menu select & click 'CD_DVD Generator 1.50'.

ok, if all is well you should see the 2 following windows;
Large window is project; untitled CD_DVD Generator version 1.50.
Small highlighted window is project menu, you'll have 2 choices here...
1. Create new project.
2. Open project.
Select 1 and Click 'OK', 'New project' window appears, 3 choices now...
1. CD-ROM Master
2. DVD-Rom Master Disc
3. DVD-Rom Master Disc (Dual)
Select 2 and Click 'OK', now large window is highlighted,
you may drag WE9 extracted/modified files into your project window.
The correct way to place the files is already posted in this thread.
Remember to add to 'Volume' the info stated in Hawke's tutorial.

Well m8 you should follow Hawke's tutorial on how to apply the patch.
You will find it in this threads 1st post.

Is the link at the beginning of the thread just for a fix or complete patch that can go on a clean version of WE9? Because I have tried a few times on a clean WE9 and followed the tutorial but cannot get it to work, just get a blank screen when I try to load the game up, please help!!!

New users don't need the first patch as this is another full patch,
but if you've already applied the first patch don't worry you
can just apply the FIXED PATCH straight over the old one.
Follow the same instructions below,to apply,rebuild etc:

lol and I thought I was bad! scoop means highlight all the files and drag them to CD/DVDGEN but make sure they are in the same order

open folder with modified/extracted files (leave open),
1.press & hold left click move mouse to highlight all 17 files, let go left click.
2.now press & hold left click on any of the highlighted files this will allow
you to drag/move all 17 files into the right side window of CD/DVDGEN.

please note files should be placed as shown in a previous post by me.
so if your not sure check it now, I recommend you place files 1 by 1
as shown in the mentioned post - extracted files might not be in the
correct order when dragged/moved.

Directory !!!
has 2 windows...
1. left side = root window
2. right side = files window (Filename - Size - Last modified - etc...)

place all files in Directory right window (2 in description).

The patch does not have 17 files, you must extract the 17 files
from your we9 iso to a folder with Apache 2, once you have done that
overwrite the 0_TEXT file in the extracted folder with the modified one
you created using DKZ, then you'll have 17 files including modified 0_TEXT.
Now you may place them in CD/DVDgen/

Sorry but this is my last post on the subject.
I shall not repeat myself anymore,
Hawke's guide is quite simple to follow.

|Important: Option File

You MUST either use my OF which is included in the rar as an xps & bin & cue, or copy the strip data from it with in game save data manager(you will need 2 mem cards for this)to your OF, or the strips wont work right. If you use your existing OF without copying the data ,don't come crying to me when the kits don't work!!!!!

1. Did you double-left click 'SETUP.exe' to install CD/DVDgen?
If not do so.

2. What OS are you using?

It's fairly complicated but do-able. What happened to the good old days of the all in one .ppf patch onto a clean iso? Does anyone know if there are any plans for a patch of this sort? Thanks a lot by the way.
