I'm a PC dummy, and my PC is in Japanese--a fatal combination. So patching it is a no go. I'm basically just needing a translation of the editing side of the game.

Have you tried reading the WE9 patching thread? The programs involved include screenshots to show which buttons you need to press. As long as you know which folder contains your image and your patch then it should be easy. Give it a try?

I've checked all the guides on patching and they are very detailed for dummies such as myself--but I don't have a chipped PS2.
Anyhoo---I'm wading through the master league and editing at snail like pace--most of the Japanese is in Katakana--which I can read--it's only when I come across a screen littered with Kanji(chinese characters) and an option of yes or no that it gets confusing but through trial and error I'm getting there. The gameplay hints and tips on here are invaluable though--cheers to all involved.
