WE9/PES5 "Man of the Match" question

Hi

A quick question to all those with WE9. Having played the PC demo of PES5 to death, I can't help but wonder why the keeper keeps getting the "man of the match" award. I even tried setting the COM level to 1 star so the match was completely one-sided (no touch for the keeper) and still he got man of the match?

Is this a problem with WE9 or just an early PES5 demo bug....your thoughts lads....

Does this mean they actually announce it in WE9/PES5?
Or are you going off the player with the highest rating?

The man of the match will have a star next to his name in the ratings section.

Another neat little feature is that players who contributed greatly to the match will often get little blurbs written about them when you scroll over their name.

True. usually my man of the match are the ones who score last. That player's comments are usually "he got the job done".. im not sure why is it always your gk..

Not necesarrily the case. I've had a few games where some Midfielders got th MOM. And they didnt even score. The person who scores last, not necesarrily wins it. Sometimes is the person who's had more shots, assists, and passes completion.

Overall, its a very clear indication of what happened in a match. Never had a GK get one though. Porbably becoz i'm usually on top defensively.

True, it's a really great addition and the ratings are much more accurate. I 've played good games and almost all players had 7's. And matches where I was totally chanceless and they all had like 5's and 6's. I've also had defenders being man of the match. I remember one match where Maldini really saved the day by sliding balls from the goal line and he was incredibly accurate when passing and didn't lose a single header and he had a 7.5 and MOTM star.

I've wanted a MOM-thingy in the game for a long time. Nice they've put it in now. Hope the ratings are a bit better than in PES4, 'cause my MF, even if they totally dominate a game, say nearly 100% passing + assist, rarely get over 6.5 ratings. Slighlty irritating.
