LOL. I now have the exact same problem.
Me to connolll, I get the same message at the end, with also an iso of 21mb or something like that. Have put also everithing in the same folder(the ripkit and the extracted files), but at the end again the same message.
Is it possible that we got a ripkit who's not good? Are there different kind of ripkits?

Hmmm, I wander what it could be?

EUREKAAAA!!!!

dunno how BUT i did it!!!!

Here's wat i did:

1) d/l the patching tools from zygalski's patchin tutorial

2) use the ripkit included with it (which is the same one from wat i see)

3) follow the readme instructions EXACTLY.
ie. extract the iso files to C:\WE9 and the ripkit to C:\GFF-WE9J (watever... juz name the folders in caps... i think that's how the ripkit's prog script is written);
while leaving the readme open (i dunno if it affects anything but i'm juz followin instructions), i clicked "start" to start rippin...

BOTTOM LINE: FOLLOW THE README INSTRUCTIONS LITERALLY...
if u see the dos cmd workin ie. NO "error" msgs like no adx found, etc => it's cool
and u will have ur rip iso file... 655 MB; it takes abt 1 hr ++

4)once u have the basic required iso files, juz carry on as per zygalski's guide... (steps 7 or 8 onwards... can't really remember cos i'm juz too excited that i got it workin!!! My exhibition match is paused right now to type this haha)

Hope this helps!!! btw, thanks zygalski, for the patchin guide... (PS: perhaps u could edit the front portion of the guide to reflect the ripkit's readme... i really think it's the way the ripkit's prog is written such that it only recognizes the respective folders the files are placed.)

:) enjoy folks :)

So if I'm reading it right, than you have the ripkit(the "ggfr-we9j"), alone in a folder, called "GGFR-WE9J"?
And in the same x:/, you have a folder, called "WE9", and in here there are the extracted files of the iso of the game (WE9)?
Am I right like this?

Or is it, that the extracted files of the iso, and the ripkit(the "ggfr-we9j") have to be in one and the same folder? I don't think so, because the readme says it have to be apart, but with ripping WE8, the ripkit and the extracted files had to be in one and the same folder. Is it than not the same as ripping WE8?

It's a lot of questions but please, can somebody help me??

Thanks anyway

yes u're rite.

the EXTRACTED FILES of the iso are in C:\WE9
and the ripkit is in C:\GGFR_WE9J

make sure the WE9 and GGFR-WE9J folders are in ur local hard disk e.g. C:\ in my case, and not anywhere else...
i used to do the operations on my desktop but that didn't work.

and by the way, iso file extraction can also be done using winrar... if isobuster doesn't work. cos that's wat i used: winrar.

and remember: open the ripkit, click readme, then start immediately; leavin the readme open.

hope it helps... cos i also encountered the same probs initially with u guys out there
and i know how it feels... and if it can work for me this way it should work for u guys too... technically.

and if u manage to rip it... really treasure the ripped file man haha...

Guide in post #10 slightly updated thanks to feedback from Horace. If it didn't work for you before, try again using the new setup for folders - all in the C:\ root instead of in a C:\WE9stuff folder.

YES!!! FINALLY!!!!
I GOT IT GUYS!!!
Instead of usin ISObuster to extract the files to ur WE9 folder...
EXTRACT EVERYTHING USIN WINRAR !!!

with tt...it has ALL the files needed to be rip...
i guess this is why the error message keeps popping out...maybe extractin this usin ISObuster will leak out some files....who knows ?

good luck guys :)

probably Zygalski...

when i use the iso buster to extract the files...i only got 400+mb of data...usin unrar gives me a full 1.3 gig of data...i guess tt's y we keep havin the error msg as the data is not enough..

Yessss!! It now works for me also. I just extracted everything and do everything on the c:/, and not on the desktop. I think this was my problem, finally!

Thanks guys for the help.

Well, I've tried the new instructions and kept the folders rooted in C:/, but still no luck. The ripped ISO I get is 721MB, not 655. Going to try it again though, and will report back. I'm just curious if anyone's had the same problem...
