Now I'm not coverted over to FIFA, but as Gary said, this is all PES bias. FIFA will be a lot better than the previous versions, so for all this "it'll be shit" is complete bollocks. It'll be a lot more like PES this year, or as the producer was asked about how similar it was to PES now he just replied "No, it's more like real football."

This is insane!! The Fifa series was dead and buried since PES came out. Real football fans will only ever want/need the PES series from now on.
Fifa is crap!

Real Football fans want the whole package. So I play Fifa for better graphics, licences and Brazilian league. And I play WE for much better gameplay, career other extras.

I'm gonna be honest here,i've been playing EA fifa games and Konami PES/ISS games side by side for nearly 10 years now and in my opinion i have never really felt that fifa has come close to PES/ISS in terms of gameplay,thats not to say i'll dismiss FIFA 2006 as i'll most likely get it but i anticipate me playing and enjoying PES 5 alot more

Fair enough that's your own opinion. But to say PES1 is better FIFA 2006 is ludicrous. You haven't even seen/played FIFA 2006 finished so how can you make these judgements?

If you read my previous comments in the thread you'd of seen that FIFA is making a big change this year, making it more like PES and have employed a lot of experts from around the world to help their campaign. Put it this way, if FIFA got the gameplay right this year, how would you think of it in comparison to PES?

I agree with everything Haribo has said thus far. Fifa is definatlely sounding alot better then previous seasons so people need to keep open minds and not ride the bandwagon. As long as it plays well and is as realistic as it can get, i will buy the better football game.

Interesting pics! Fifa looks pretty awful for O6! especially if all that is from XBOX-360! Like the box art though, kinda old school graphically with the text and all, but also Matrix Revolutionsy with the rain. The in game footage still looks like fake plastic men running around.

You can even see on the box art how they're trying to play up the whole "exclusive FIFA license". It's the only thing they've got over Pro Evo.. and that's beginning to change.

Look at that pic, thats not only put me off fifa for life, but im wondering if every xbox360 game will be like that!
However it looks like a really good feature tough (the kick ups in the pic) but as you all know Fifa will not doubt balls it up again.

I just saw sum vids of Fifa 2006.......It is starting to look like PES a little bit...... BUT from what I saw the Defence was utter crap....... it was like WE on 2 stars....... I wonder if it was like that just for the goals though....... The ONLY thing that impressed me in the new fifa2006 vids was Andy Gray commenting.........
