Tutorial CD/DVD GENERATOR

---------
1-Créér un dossier WE9 sur votre disque dur avec tous les fichiers de l'iso de WE9 vierge
puis remplacer dans ce meme dossier les memes fichiers provenant du patch (exemple d:/WE9)


1-create one folder WE9 on your hard drive with all the files from the clean iso of WE9, and after
replace in this folder all same files from my patch (for example d:/WE9)

2-Installer cd/dvd generator 2.00

il va falloir reconstruire l'iso avec cd/dvd generator

faites glissez tous les fichiers de votre dossier WE9 dans cd/dvd generator ensuite
remplissé dans volume les données suivantes:

License Area: JAPAN;
Référence du dique : SLES_66009;
Volume: WE9,

puis cliquer sur enregistrer, exporter le fichier IML va apparaitre, en nom du fichier donnez WE9 puis cliquer sur
enregistrer, 2 erreurs vont safichés ni prété pas attention et cliquer sur ok, puis une nouvelle fenetre va apparaitre,
faites fichier exporter un fichier image et donnez en nom de fichier WE9, et laissez faire le pc les fichiers


ps: n'oubliez pas au préalable d'installé le pilote d'inst aspi sinon ca marchera pas (vous devrez redémarer votre pc)


2-Install cd/dvd generator 2.00

now you must rebuild the iso with cd/dvd generator

slip all files of your folder WE9 in cd/dvd generator, after that fill in volum, this data:

Référence du dique : SLPM_66009;
Volume: WE9

and after clik on save, export the file IML will appear, give WE9 name for the file and after clik on save,
two errors will appear, don't take care and click on OK, next one new window will appear, do file and export image file
and give for name file WE9, and wait that your computer creates the files


ps: dont forget before to install the driver aspi, if not it will not run (you must reboot computer)

Tutorial/Guide #2 by tyrvas

Appz required:
DKZ Studio & CD/DVDgen (both in patch, check tool folder)
Apache2 & DVD Decrypter (get em from tools section in 'Editing Forum')

...Install all required appz....

...Use DVD Decrypter to extract ISO image from your WE9 DVD to HD...
([0] only required to extract ISO, if you have ISO image in HD go to [1])

[0] Insert WE9 DVD in PC's DVD drive & run DVD Decrypter...
[0a] Click 'MODE' tab, select 'ISO' and click 'Read R'.
[0b] 'Source' usually auto-detected, if not use browser to locate drive.
[0c] Check if 'Destination' is OK, if not click folder icon & select location to save.
[0d] All set, click 'DVD(icon) to HardDrive(icon)' button.
[0e] Wait for DVD Decrypter to extract ISO image.

...You need to extract all file folders from WE9 ISO image (correctly),
to do this create a folder in your HD and name it WE9, then...

[1] Run DKZ Studio and do the following...
[1a] Click 'File' tab, then select & click 'Open A FIle'.
[1b] In 'Open File browser' look for WE9.iso, select it & click 'OPEN'.
[1c] Click 'Edit' tab, then select & click 'Check All Files In The Current Folder'.
[1d] Click 'Edit' tab again, then select & click 'Export Checked Files'.
[1e] In 'Browse For Folder' look for 'WE9' folder, select it & click 'OK'.
[1f] Wait for DKZ's extraction to finish.
[1g] Close DKZ Studio.

[2] Applying patch to 'WE9' folder...
[2a] Unrar (extract) patch to desired location.
[2b] COPY all files from 'WEmerica 5.0 Patch' folder.*
[2c] PASTE into your extracted 'WE9' folder, when
asked if you want to overwrite original files, click 'Yes'.
Patching of WE9 files is completed

* 3 'J_TEXT.afs' (in-game language) text files are available.
English 'J_TEXT.afs' is already inside 'WEmerica 5.0 Patch' folder,
there are 2 more language options, Italian and German.
If you wish to change in-game text language...

(1) COPY 'J_TEXT.afs' file from one of this two folders;

'optional italian j_text (replace english one in Patch 5.0)' folder**
...or...
'optional german j_text (replace english one in Patch 5.0)' folder**

(2) PASTE in 'WEmerica 5.0 Patch' folder (or 'WE9' folder if steps [2b &
[2c have been done), when asked if you want to overwrite file click 'Yes'.

**Minor error in italian & german j_text folder names,
it reads '..in Patch 4.2', when it should be '..in Patch 5.0' as shown above.

[3] Move files from 'WE9' folder to CD/DVDgen's 'Directory'...
[3a] Run CD/DVDgen, when asked select 'Create new project' & click 'OK' button.
main window is 'Directory' which has 2 windows;
[3b] When asked, select 'DVD-ROM Master Disc' & click 'OK' button.
[3c] CD/DVDgen's 'Directory' is auto-selected, it has 2 windows;

LEFT window = Root (CD icon)
RIGHT window = File - Size - Last Modified - Sector Size

[3d] Open 'WE9' folder as a window, beside/below CD/DVDgen's 'Directory' window.
(This way you may move/drag the files directly from folder to CD/DVDgen.)
[3e] Highlight one or two files/folders at a time from WE9 folder window.
[3f] Now move/drag them into 'Directory' RIGHT window.
Repeat process until all files are placed as shown below...
[3g] WE9 files & folders must be placed in the following order...

[4] Finishing DVD compilation in CD/DVDgen....
[4a] Click 'Volume' button new window opens, do the following...
[4b] 'Disc Name' has 2 boxes, in 1st box type: SLPM, 2nd box type: 66009.
[4c] In 'Copyright Holder' box type: KONAMI.
[4d] In 'Producer Name' box type: PLAYSTATION.
[4e] In 'Licence Area' click browse button, select & click Japan.
[4f] In 'Volume' box type: WE9.
[4g] In 'Publisher' box type: KONAMI.
[4h] Click 'File' tab, then select & click 'Export IML File'.
[4i] Save IML file inside your 'WE9' folder as WE9.iml.
[4j] When done close CD/DVDgen.

[5] Creating ISO image with Apache2, run it...
[5a] Click 'File' tab, then select and click 'Import IML file',
browse for your 'WE9.iml' file select it & click 'Open'.
[5b] Click 'File' tab again and this time click 'build iso',
select where to save in your HD and name it WE9.
[5c] Wait for Apache2 to create ISO image.
[5d] When done close Apache2.

...Use DVD Decrypter to burn your newly created WE9.iso image...

[6] Insert blank DVDR in your PC's dvd burner, run DVD Decrypter.
[6a] Click 'MODE' tab, select 'ISO' and click 'Write'.
[6b] Below 'Source' heading, click 'folder icon' on the right.
[6c] In 'Open' window browse for your WE9.iso and click 'Open' button.
[6d] Below 'Destination' heading is a browser, burner usually auto-detected.
[6e] Check 'Settings', in browser select & click lowest possible speed(x1 or x2).
[6f] All set, click the 'HardDrive(icon) to DVD(icon)' button.
[6g] Wait for DVD Decrypter to burn ISO image to DVDR.

...Insert your patched WE9 DVD into your PS2 & enjoy this great release by WEmerica...

In concern about the adjustment of players value wouldnt this affect the game I mean you cant just adjust some players value just because it doesnt the players in real life. I mean a good player can control a average player if he is skilled.

Hi, So i change the documents folder to c:\ we9 folder which is now c:\we9\we9 binary>so i type in copy / b we9.000 + we9.001 we9.iso so the 2 file will be copied right is will show "we9.000, we9.001" 1 file (s)copied. so a iso file will be created in my we9 binary folder right?? but i open using winrar there is no file in it.. Why like that this is the 2nd time i tried still nothing in the iso created. Can i know where goes wrong..

Not from there! You change directory to where your newly created WE9.iso is. That means that if it's under your Document And Settings, then:

Pls Help & correct me if my steps is wrong!!!

1). I extract WE9.ISO using dvd decrypter then save to a folder created WE9. So a winrar file will be inside my folder so i unzip all the files into my WE9 Folder. Next i unzip the patch into my WE9 Folder, the file i extracted is 0_Text, J_Text, 0_Sound, J_Text, SLMP_660.09 & WE9_OP this 6 files. So This 6 Files Will Replace the original 6 files in my WE9 folder.

2). Next i open cd/dvd generator 2.00, from there create new project the click on dvd-rom master disc, then i click on the layout tab then go to edit click put files so i put in all the files from WE9 folder then i go to volume key disc name SLMP-66009, then under Volume type WE9 next i click REC. Next 2 errors appear i ignore it and then a recording unit appear so i click on file, export files from here i need to save a IML file so I name It as WE9 Binary next i save & wait for the Image to be created.

3). After created my WE9 Binary Folder will consist of "List of AFS Files, WE9.000, WE9.001, WE9.IML, WE9.IMS this 5 files... So the last step i do is go to start then click run then type cmd then dos screen appear so i from here c:\, i type cd WE9 (my iso folder) then it became c:\WE9>, then from here i type cd WE9 Binary (My IML folder) then it will became c:\WE9\WE9 Binary> from here i type copy / b WE9.000 + WE9.001 WE9.ISO enter then 1 file(s) will be copied. So this ISO file will be created in my WE9 Binary Folder. It will bacame a winrar file am i right??? So when i double click on it there is no file inside not even 1 file it contain.. So I now wondering where goes wrong, i do this twice but still the same pls help me if u had succeeded in this patching thanx..

This is my first post here ever... but I am a BIG WE9 fan from America, living in Japan... I REALLY want this updated version you have provided but unfortunately am not skilled enough to do it....

I was able to patch using PPF-OMATiC before but this is very difficult for me... and i have no way to import Option files to my memory card ...

Can somebody Please provide FANS like me with a way to play this version? I CAN burn DVD but that took forever to learn.... now i download from Newsleecher- would someone like to post this FINAL version in ISO format there??
