but if u finnish 3rd or 4th in group stage ur knocked out of the WEFA championships. juve (cpu) are in quarterfinals of WEFA Championships AND they are in semi's of WEFA cup. strange 1.

The WEFA Championships is setup like the real life Champions League with a 4-team group stage, playing home and away, followed by knockout stages.
The WEFA Masters Cup is like the real life UEFA Cup and is a straight 2-legged knockout system.

so i just started my third season
i finished first my second season in d1

i end up playing in the championship now, but didnt qualify for the cup

kinda odd that i cant play in both...
wonder if i'll get in next season...

If you mean what I think you mean, you shouldn't be able to qualify for both unless you get into the Champs League first and then get knocked out at the group stage.

ok, how do you explain this??
in season 5 i finished 2nd in div 1 , won the wefa championship(i.e champs league) and got knocked out of div 1 cup in semi final.

in next season i have just played juventus in the 1st round of the masters cup thing(i.e. uefa cup) and have already got past the group stages of the wefa champs league , facing ac milan in the knockout stages.
so i am in both the wefa champs and the masters cup thing??

mikeyboyz, u have to be knocked out in the last group stage of weaf champion cup to be entered in to the masters cup, eg u need to finsh in the bottem two of the table

Can u play wefa champions league and uefa cup same time.Say u win the tittle and the cup.What do u play?I know it is impossible in real life but do u play it then both?

You enter the Champs league. If you finish in the top 2 of the group, you go to the champs league knockout stage. If you finish 3 or 4, you are knocked out and go in the UEFA cup. You can't win both in the same season. Pick one to go for.

Imagine this situation.

Last season, I was in the WEFA Champions League. I had also won the Div 1 league and cup that season before. I get knocked out of the WEFA Champions League and the Div 1 cup, and I finished 6th in the league.

After the friendlies and negotiations part, they say I'm now at the play-offs. I see the 3rd to 6th team there. After 3 games, I'm 3rd.

But there's another play-off game (?) or 2.

I thought I was in the WEFA cup because according to the posts before, I have to finish the last 2 teams in the play-offs.

But shock when I found out I wasn't in the cup after 6 league games. Why?

And one more question: If I won the Div 1 cup the season before, I'll get to play in the cup no matter my position in the league right? (let's say 8th)

right, i have checked exactly what happened last season and where i am this season and the situation is as follows:
in season 5
i won the northern league div1
wefa championship winner
div 1 cup semi finalist

in season 6 (now)
after 21 league games
4th in league
in final of div 1 cup
in semifinal of wefa championship ( just beat lens 2-1 in 1st leg)

AND i was in the masters cup, i beat juventus in the 1st round , but then managed to lose to hamburg in the 1/4 final., this happened after i had qualified from my wefa group stage , but before i got to play ac milan in the 1/4 final of the wefa championship(who i beat, hence i am now playing lens in the semi)

this has never happened to me before , being in both 'european' cups, so why is this happpenig???i cant believe that this hasnt happened to anyone else?

looking back over the rest of this thread it looks like edmundo had the same situation but with a cpu team, there must be a combo of results which enables both to be played at the same time?
