Hi there, does anyone know how can I be qualified for the Master Leagues' WEFA Masters Cup? This is my 4th season now and I just wonder if I could ever participate in it.
Thanks.

never qualified for it. do you have to win WEFA??

if the WEFA cup is supposed to be the Champions league,
then What is the masters cup supposed to be?

No MASTERS cup is like the UEFA Cup its for the teams that arnt good enough to make it the the CHAMPION's League (WEFA). So if you finish I think 5-7 or something like that you make it in the Masters Cup, if you finish 1-4 you get into the WEFA cup. If you get knocked out of the WEFA cup in either group stage you go straight into the Master's Cup which is a home and away knock out format.

There are WEFA Champions Cup and WEFA Masters Cup.
They are different. The former is just like UEFA Champions League. The latter I don't know. But I realize that the teams playing in the WEFA Masters Cup are not the top notch teams in their previous season. So should I have to place myself 3rd or 4th to be eligible for the WEFA Masters Cup? It sounds ridiculous if the idea is true.

Thanks for your reply. Hope that someone can give me an answer pretty soon. I just need this WEFA Masters Cup to complete my Cup Gallery.

Thanks dude.
So what should I do now?
Deliberately lose my WEFA Champions Cup in group stage and my team will enter the Masters Cup right away within the same season?
Thanks.

WEFA Cup is the champion's league.. the best you can get..

The Masters Cup is the UEFA cup Just with a silly name... its for the lower tier teams. You should NOT want to be in it if you had a choice of the two.

WEFA masters cup is for the winners of the cups like division 1 cup and division 2 cup.

if you finish 1st - 6th you go in to the Wefa championships with 1st and 2nd not going into the first qualifying stage

B Gees, :)
I won all of the Division Cups in my previous three seasons, yet I am never in the Masters Cup. So, I think it's not the reason. But thanks for your input. BTW, I'm playing WE7, not PES3.

I have never qualified for Masters cup from winning the league cups.. I think it was supposed to be that... but never happened... Could be because I was already in WEFA CHamps Cup. You CAN NOT play in both WEFA cups at the same time.

The above explanation is totally correct for PES3 but I'll expand on it very slightly.

Prerequisite for qualifying for the WEFA Masters Cup - Win Master League Cup (Division 1 or 2)

Prerequisites for qualifying for the WEFA Championships

To qualify for preliminary group league - finish 3rd to 6th in Div 1

To qualify for main group league - finish in top 2 in Div 1 or finish in top 2 in preliminary group league.

To qualify for championship tournament - finish in top 2 in main group league.

Not sure about WE7 though.

It says this in the master league timetable:

To enter wefa masters cup
- Come in 3rd place in wefa championship qualifiers group league

- Come in 3rd or 4th place in wefa championships group stage

- Win the cup games of the 4 regional leagues

This would leave 17 teams though, so maybe the division 2 cup winners don't qualify

I won the Div 2 cup and didn't qualify for any WEFA tournament. I think they're only for Div 1 teams.

I don't think the Division Cup has anything to do with the WEFA Masters Cup as I won the Division Cups in all three seasons. But I think being placed on 3rd and 4th in WEFA Champions Cup group stages will be sent to the WEFA Masters Cup.

Then there will only be 8 teams then...where would the other 8 teams come from?

P.S. I'm playing WE7.

WE7 and PES3 should be the same in this part of the game.

I would guess that to get the other 8 teams, it would be taking the teams who finish 3rd to 6th in the league and maybe the cup winners of Div 1 cups or a mixture of the two?

My season is nearly finished so I'll write down which teams finish where and then I'll be back with a definitive answer! (tomorrow maybe). :)
