Most probably, I could've sworn Konami or someone close to them said that PES6 would be the last PES on PS2.

well i mean, ps2 graphics wont get better than pes6, so it will be pes6 with current line ups, not to mention no champions league.

yeah probably dude, but don't fear...maybe you will still have the better game, as PES08 on ps2 was MUCH BETTER than PES08 on next gen consoles
