I reckon they will put him in PES 09, but where? In the Brazil back-up players list? He won't be with any league team, and probably will only sign with someone in January. Or do you guys think they will just put him in that list of players where Veron etc. is, the unbelonging list? I'll be really pissed if they leave him out completely, since he hasn't retired.

he'll either be a PES shop player, or he might be included in a squad if he decides to sign with a team pretty soon... he's a free agent so he doesn't have to wait until January to sign with a team.

He's been training with Flamengo I believe but I don't think he's signed yet... Is there any South American teams in PES 2009?

GOING BY THE LOOK OF HIM LATELEY HELL NEED A FEW WEEKS OF HARD GRAFT AND A FEW SLIMFAST SHAKES BEFORE HE SIGNS WITH ANYONE!!! HE IS TRAINGING WITH FLAMENGO I SEEN THAT, MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE HIM IN THE GAME SOMEWHERE AS HES BEEN HEAVILY LINKED WITH THE LIKES OF MAN CITY. DOES ANYONE KNOW YET IF YOU CAN PICK AND CHOOSE THE TEAMS YOU WOULD LIKE TO LAY IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OR IF IT WILL BE LOCKED TO INCLUDE ONLY THE TEAMS THAT ARE ACTUALLY IN IT THIS YEAR?:erm:

yeah, seems Manchester City ain't interested in him anymore, pity...I think he still has a lot to offer, even at AC Milan he score very good goals in his limited amount of games. Anyway, he is going to be a good buy in Master league, free agent and a real good player you can dominate with in PES. Hopefully they corrected the stamina in PES09, in PES08 Ronaldo was completely exhausted after walking onto the pitch...lol

no the new coach Dunga wants to get rid of Brazil's superstar status and decided not to select Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Adriano. Though Ronaldinho has been recalled to the squad. I hope that Ronaldo can make another comeback and represent Brazil in 2010. I'm from South Africa and would do anything to see "the phenomenon" in action!

dont know about his record but spurs should sign him. even if he's unfit he'll run rings round darren bent once he gets some match fitness back.

This really isn't going to go anywhere guys and has totally gone off PES'09 discussion.
I think I may close it as nobody knows the answer to the orginal question.

The original question was, is Ronaldo (The fat one) going to be in PES'09?

If anyone has the answer feel free to post it. If the other discussion carries on then I may just as well move this to the Football section.

Agreed. Maybe we ought to be discussing this in another Thread.

Anyways, I'm guessing Ronaldo will be in Brazil, somewhere in the Reserve.. just like Sebastian Veron has been for some time.

Would be cool to have Ronaldo in the game.. this way I can place Ronaldo with Romario in the front, killer duo.

I hope it's the same, hehe, he is an absolute killer in PES08. He was still the fastest guy in the Milan squad when he was with AC Milan. And he got known a bit for playmaking abilities as well, he scored 9 goals in 16 matches, and actually got quite a few assists.

Ronaldo is in the Brazil squad, already saw his name in the Brazil squad.. Don't know about his Stats.

I think they should keep him the same, as Class is permanent.. but his "Condition" and "Injury" should be very poor, he can barely manage to play without getting injured. A shame really.

I totally agree with you, his shooting acc. etc. should stay the same, but his condition must be 3 or 4 and injury C.

Can I ask you a favour? If you see his stats can you maybe send it to me, I would really appreciate it dude.

dude, I so desperately want to know what his stats are! But since he isn't assigned to a team, nobody knows, because only the different teams players stats has been posted...sigh
