I am in a real dilemma when the new PES 4 comes! What am i going to do...Buy an x-box to play the game online or play it on my PS2 and save a lot of money. I can't really deside. I am a huge fan of the game and to play it online would be the best. But it would mean that i should spend a lot of money and i can't deside if it is worth it. X-box would also mean a goodbye to the old and good PS2 controller and you would have to learn to play the game with a new controller....!

My question is if anyone of you have had the same thought and what you are going to do??? Is it worth it to invest in the x-box solution??

You can get a convertor that lets you use a PS2 controller on the XBOX. I'll be playing the game on both PS2 and XBOX.

I just got my XBOX to PS2 controller adaptor this morning and it works a treat! cannot wait to dish out some online slappage...comfortably!

I don't personally think it's worth spending a hundred and thirty/fourty pounds just to play the game online. Then further money for the convertor? Nah, not worth it mate. I'd just stick with the old PS2 and get mates over. If you wait a year, PES5 will be online for Ps2.

you can always do that with the xbox and also have online play when your mates arent around. but to the thread starter, its all down to your budget if you can afford to get PES on Xbox get it. if you cant or its too much trouble stick to the PS2

My feelings exactly. Nothing beats you and 3 other friends, a PS2, a 4-player adapter, Pro Evo, beer and/or pizza, and girlfriends banished to somewhere far away. Ahhhh, bliss.

today i bought an xbox and it was quite cheap (second hand) only 4 month old with 2 joysticks ,remove control,6 games which 3 of them i sold and bought xbox live .All i paid 150 euro.Now just can't wait untill november.
Please someone tell me where i can buy converter for joystick ?(xbox sucks big time) thanks.

enjoy the next step in oro evo's evolution the online area and as for os2 online versions they will stink because the ps2 servers are pish look what happend with ea and burnout3 they stuck it on ps2 servers with nobs on to use for live and it kept crashin only ms xbox live dedicated servers do the trick konami has seen this and thats why pro evo 4 wont be online for ps2


just buy both and stop being fucking fanboys its so fucking stupid all this ps2 xbox gc better than bollocks just play the games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh, only another year! Is it confirmed?

I've weighed up the already much talked about pros n cons and I've ordered it for Xbox, extra 3 weeks to wait, but I'm sure everybody who has decided to get Xbox version will agree, it'll be worth the wait. My Xbox was a month old, 100 quid second hand from Gamestation, + I got 50 quid off from trading in shitey PS2 games I had lying about. Trust me PS2 owners, look at your games collection, unlock the potential of the shite you've got. If you consider yourself true gamers, take off the blinkers, buy an Xbox and PES4 and I'll see you online.
