PES 2012- Not played it for a while and it's certainly as shite as i remember it.
Battlefield 3 - Only played a couple of levels, but it's pure awesomeness.

Skyrim finally unlocked at midnight. Played an hour but only felt like 10 minutes, the graphics are fantastic on PC.

Still FIFA 12. I'm hooked. I started playing Arkham City, but then stopped for a couple of weeks to play FIFA. I put Arkham back on last night and I hope to complete it by the end of the week, but I'll probably split my gaming time 50-50.

dusted off NHL 11 the other weekend and re-hooked. Such a well made and realistic game. Left analog controls your legs, right analog your upper body. Incredible controls.

Still BF3, getting a bit bored with it now. Tempted to trade it in for Skyrim.

Do it. Skyrim has one thing BF hasn't. A decent single player campaign.

I love wonderfully intuitive controls. EA's 'skate' series has undoubtedly the finest control system that I've ever experienced to date. It sounds like they've transferred it, or at least the idea behind it into their other games now as well if it's included in NHL 11.

In 'skate', if you're not aware, you use the left analog stick to steer your character and board, while the right stick controls the trick movements. Anyway, I'll let a couple of very short videos do the demonstrating, makes it a lot more simple!

Unfortunately, it seems EA may be done with the 'skate' franchise. Their new innovative control system which they implemented for their first skate game probably 3-4 years ago now, absolutely killed off the Tony Hawks button-mashing era. Now that Tony Hawks game are no longer being produced (I don't think), or at least they're not selling at all, I guess EA feel they can just take a break and rest, as after a trilogy of superb skating games, there's no word on whether there will ever be a skate 4 released. :(

Taking a little time out playing FIFA 12 Clubs to play some games that I never properly played in the past, starting with Eternal Sonata.
