Just to reitterate, Metal Gear Solid 3 is a fucking awesome game. I might buy the HD collection now to compliment my 3DS title as I liked MGS2 and have never played Peace Walker.

I was disappointed to see MGS1 isn't included in the HD collection. Is that because of the switch controlelr slot battle?

Anyway, still playing FIFA and GTA. I have a week of from work, so I hope to complete Episodes From Liberty City. I then want to get AC Revelations.

No, it's because it's a PS1 game.

Coverting that to HD would be a much bigger effort. Alternative would be a HD Twin Snakes but Konami didn't have much to do with making that game.

ME3 on 360. What a headfuck! More moral choices than ever. Looking a bit dated now, not moved on at all from ME2, but still, it drags you in in much the same way as the first two. Loving it so far.

Just Finished MGS Snake Eater 3D. Just so good, the last battle, the music, then ending scenes, them revelations.....so damn good.

Uncharted 1
Really enjoying this game. Was going to buy number 3 but decided to start from the first game.
The only slight annoying thing is the never ending swarms of pirates that descend on you.

Fight night Champion
Really am struggling with this game in legacy mode on the default difficulty settings which is set to pro and there's two more difficulty settings. I can out box my opponent but can only win matches on points in legacy mode. I've enjoyed all the fight nights but there seems to be less of a boxing art in this game especially with the automatic blocking.

Legend of Grimrock

A brilliant dungeon-crawler released by indie developer Almost Human last week. Cost me about £7.50 and is a brilliant throwback to games like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder. Lovely lighting effects, a good engine and an editor forthcoming so people can make their own dungeons. So lovely.

FIFA 12

Clubs.

Skyrim

Well...just adding mods at the moment.

I started off winning by deceision only, too, but once I got used to the game, I was able to win via KO within a few rounds, on the top level (Greatest?). I haven't come across auto blocking, though. Maybe that's something I disabled from the start.

skate 3
Quite enjoyable,. I prefer these type of games where you can express a bit more freedom but some of the challenges of own the spot have severely annoyed me and at times I was close to snapping the disk in nerd rage.
Heavy Rain
Really enjoyable, one of the best PS3 game's I've played. Is it weird when the female character got her tits out in the shower that it gave me a semi?

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head here.

I rarely keep my games as once I've finished them - or got bored of them - I sell them (never trading in), however I've kept Skate 3 purely because it's actually quite relaxing and a game that you can dip in and out of over time and still have fun. EA knocked it out of the park with the Skate series - hands down one the best sports series ever released. The control system is amazing, and even mind blowing when the original Skate game was released.

I'm playing WWE '12 quite a bit at the moment. I can see myself buying WWE '13 once I get back from my travels. The gameplay in WWE '12 is so damn addictive and enjoyable that I find just playing exhibition matches to be great.

The first Skate was the best for me. Okay, they refined the series, but that first day with those controls? Man, nothing has touched that for a real innovative feel.

As for my gaming, been a little quiet in that area. A tad of Forza or Fifa on the 360 with a side serving of NFS: The Run. ME3 is on the burner at present 'til I get some free time back. PS3 is back to being a DVD player at present.

EA are just murdering competition in sports games with Skate what just shits on the once almighty Tony Hawks series. Boxing monopolised. Golf monopolised. Skateboarding monopolised. Thankfully there's still an alternative to the dross football game they serve up.

@fick totally agree fick.
First time I played it was on the Xbox.
Before I bought the game I absoloutly murdered the demo out, more so than any other demo ive played.

Yeah, without a doubt. The new control system was something really special. It just felt so...real. It really did - and still does in a way.

Just skating around in the demo section (the first area I believe, of which looked like a community park. Skating around in that little park is one of my fondest memories from the Skate series - it was so relaxing and fresh.

EDIT: I see Mak has pretty much said the same thing - the demo section was quality. The amount of hours I must have racked up on that thing.

killzone 3
Been very enjoyable.
Shame the story is average and the characters are very poor with not much personality which makes them feel distant.

Metroid Prime

Picked up Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii yesterday, god the atmosphere in this game is brilliant. I remember playing it when it first came out, and I got stuck because I thought it was too hard, no such problems so far so hopefully it was because i was a 16 year old, would really like to play the whole series through.

PES2012 round my mates gaff. 2v2 online was quite enjoyable. 1v1 was fucking awful. Glad I haven't rebought the game, nothing there of any tangible quality or charisma.
