What are you currently playing?

Played PES 6 last night; and will probably have a few games online before the CL game.

Seriously; it's amazing how I play pro nearly every day. Only online really though; but seriously, I still play it from release to the final day before the release of the next in the series.

Truly a mark of a great game methinks.

Football Manager

I always get bored of football manager after one or two seasons, which is a great shame as I love it when I'm in the thick of things; i just appreciate something, a bit more, you know, active.

Imagine Football Manager with PES graphics though for gameplay; that'd be amazing.

Most I've gone is for seasons. It depends on who you are really, if you can arsed to turn a team into a giant, then it can last you months. I always spit the dummy out if I lose too many on the bounce or if my team starts playing wank.

PES has hot and cold spells, sometimes I wont play it for a few days, then I come back to it and end up playing it for about 5 hours. : o

Another game which lasted me a good 5-6 months, was Call of Duty 2 on the 360. It has the best online play I think I've ever played.

Scarface

The World Is Yours
I'm playing a lot of GTA on the PC at the moment. The original & GTA London occasionally, GTA 3 frequently, Vice City regularly, and just starting on San Andreas again.

Those, and an updated version of PES4, which still remains my favourite game in the series.

I still have several gripes with the game mind, in particular online but there's nowt you can do about it as I'm still going to buy it regardless.

Even in the Player Match menu (non-ranked) people tend to take Inter and Brazil. As long as it has Adriano :/ That's my main gripe with PES6 online.

I just got the Star Wars Empire at War expansion - Forces of Corruption.

This game is such a treat. A must have for any Star Wars fan. The land battles aren't as good as one would expect, but the space battles are beautiful to behold.

It's the only other game apart from Medieval that has been installed in my computer for many years.

Last night i was in need of some first person shooting, so i installed Doom 3.

I tried it before but the gameplay turned me off. It still does. Regardless, it's a good plot and the environmental graphics rock. The weapons look like shite, but killing the baddies in this game can be fun nonetheless. There is much blood splattering and demonic disintegration.

I got hooked for three straight hours - it's like being in a sci-fi suspense thriller.

The ending better be good.

Can't complain as I downloaded it ;). It is also the first C&C I've ever played...reviews were quite good but not spectacular as they had been for previous games in the series such as Red Alert but that's because EA don't like to do more than they have to. The guy who plays Sawyer in Lost is also in it somewhere as one of the characters.

It's not. I found the final few hours a real drag.

There's only one Sci-fi shooter....Half Life. ;) One of the best games I've ever played.

I'm currently playing Spider-Man 3 (360) and PES6 (PS2)
