I really didn't like mirrors edge. I found it very repetitive and it got boring quite quickly. Probably just no my type of game.

If they had free roam I think I could enjoy it more, it's one of the reasons I enjoy games like skate, because the mechanics are actually great, and you have the freedom to really feel like you're on control and you can just do whatever you like and achieve great satisfaction in some of the things you can pull off.

Having to dodge bullets and run in specific lines on Mirror's Edge though just negates the idea of free running and it's somewhat annoying. It had so much potential but it's been disappointing so far. It was only £7.99, but I still had higher hopes for it. I will still complete the game as that's a new outlook for me this year, to try these different types of games and see them through if I can as I rarely have done so in the past.

Just popped Dragon Age back in, and forgot how great it was.

NBA 2k11 - Alot better than 2k10.
Call of duty Black ops - Starting to play Hardcore search which is pretty hard.
Getting back into Battlefield Bad Company 2 as the online is superb.

Undead Nightmare. I'm enjoying it, but it's become very samey, quite quickly. Still fun, though. There are some great details. I was riding by a town I had already saved and saw a man on the floor, crying with his dead friend's body in his arms. The dead friend rises and the man shoots him in the head immediately. Realising what he had done, the man turns the gun on himself and blows his own head off.

GT5. Despite all it's problems I am still plugging away, partly waiting for all the cars I'd like to fill my virtual garage, but mainly as I am clearly a masochist.

PES 2011; really into it at the moment, getting used to the controls - I'm liking how it's improved a lot from last year's PES.

The goal margins in online matches are getting less embarrasing every time :happy:

Currently playing the NBA 2K11 demo. Usually a close score between myself (Lakers) and the Celtics, often goes either way. I do need to improve my defence and also I need to attack the basket with more authority too, not to mention my hop step sucks at the moment. I'll be watching some YouTube tutorials tonight on how to become a better player so when the game arrives I won't have to spend hours and hours trying to get to grips with the more in-depth areas.
