online isnt that big a deal for me
i'm in the US and i'd prolly be trying to play european people and the pings would sucks and the game would suck....kinda like fifa online...which i never play

i want real crowd chants
i want more teams (duh)
true 360 degree analog control
export system, where you can export data into computer readable files
i really want konami to get off their lazy asses and go get the licenses for at least the big divisions...not having licenses is crappy

thats the biggest issue for me

True But How Are Konami Going To Obtain The License When Fifa Have Got The Big One? All Konami Did Have Was Fifpro But That Doesnt Cover All The Teams... Shame... FIVE A SIDE! EXCELLENT IDEA I USED TO LOVE THAT.. HOW ABOUT A BONUS BEACH FOOTBALL MODE JUST FOR A LAUGH?

speaking of beach mode, fifa 97 used to have indoor soccer mode, it was great fun.

and more than just euros play this game, ive come across many americans who enjoy this game tremendously. watch, just set up a server somewhere in the US, and people will flock to it. so online play will be an awesome addition. hope they put it in next time.

1: Online
2: More licenses
3: MUCH more teams

Just thinking about playing in a league with all the 20 Premier League clubs make me feel like I'm in heaven..that's why a tiny bit of my body tells me to buy FIFA 2004, but the rest of me continue to play PES3 because of the gameplay. Just think about how FIFA 2004 would be with PES3 gameplay? It would be the perfect football game..

Crowd attendance stuff...

Just as weather, time and other varibles can be set random, I would also like the crowds to have a random function - dead easy to implement.

I've noticed when playing Cup tournaments, that 1st round matches have few spectators, and increases as the Cup progresses. This is not a scientific study, just an observation.

Master League: I would like crowd attendance to be a separate part of a clubs weekly earnings, so a sold out stadium will give more points and show up on the balance sheet.

At the same time, the clubs performance during the season should also reflect on attendance:
A massive loosing streak, and only the die-hard fans remain on the stands.
A relegation/promotion playoff game, and the stadium is packed.
Buying high profile players should also boost attendance.

This is already implemented.

You can set attendance to random.

In master league mode you can set attendace to active - which changes depending on your performance. This stuff is already in the game :) :D

PC Version

You should be able to use the file system to save and load files.

There should be a players/teams/stadiumes/kits/chants/leagues directory where the data is kept.
This will allow easy editing of the data.

Because the PC has virtual memory and more memory than the PS2 there should be a config file that sets up the number of teams and leagues in the game. The config file will also contain the data on how the leagues will run i.e. relegation/promotion/champions league etc.. (like swos)

You also should be able to set the replay length.

Referee and lisemen on the pitch

The ref should be able to spot fouls in front of him, not behind him.
The ref will make more mistakes if he is far away from play.

The linesmen can also spot fouls, if the ref does not see them. The linesman will call the ref over and they will make a decision.

Stats for ref and linsemen
Speed
Stamina
Vision
Consistency

Improved control of players

New Passing:
You should have the option of charging the pass button.
If you tap the button the ball will go to that player (just like normal). If you hold on to the pass button the pass gauge will fill up and when you relese the ball will go in that direction.

360 degree:
PES still can only run in 8 directions , This limits the players you can pass to, head to etc. As the computer has to guess which player you are passing to.

Goalie:
Manual kick and throw option
The first press will set the height and the second press will set the power

You should have control of your players all the time, and be able to switch and move them anywhere for example:

When opposing goalie has the ball you should be able to foul him or try and stop him kicking the ball.
Freekicks, throwins you can still foul players.

Slide Tackling:
As soon as you press the slide tackle button your player should slide tackle (Even if they are not near the ball). A lot of times the game does not even make your player slide tackle. You should also have control of direction.

Heading:
As soon as you press the head button your player should jump. A lot of time i will put my player in front, and no matter how many times i press the head button they don't even jump (most of the goals i concede are because of this) You should have control of speed, height and direction of heading as the heading routines are scripted mostly to pass to the cpu player

Records:
For each time period 5,10,15,20,30 minute games

Fastest Goal.
Most goals scored in a game to win.
Most goals conceded in a game.
Most goals scored combined in a game.
Greatest come back by player.
Greatest come back by cpu against you.
Fastest Hat-Trick.
Most fouls in a game.
Most goals scored by a single player.
Longest shot to score.
Longest freekick.
The records should also store what level you were on.

Realistic Weather ,Time and Pitch
Time:
There was a football game on PES1 which had realistic time, where if the game starts in the evening, the sun may be out, but the sun may set. The flood lights would come on if it became too dark.

Weather:
The weather is random and is based on where you play. If you play in a hot country there is more chance of it being dry, but play in Manchester (Rain), Kiev (Snow).
The weather will also change during the game it may start raining, snowing or it may stop. The sun may come out or it will remain cloudy.
The sun would dry out the pitch
The rain would make the pitch wetter, if it rains too much the pitch would become waterlogged like the Liverpool game.
The snow will cover the pitch.
Thunderstorms.
The pitch would range from Very dry, dry, normal, wet, waterlogged and it would affect the ball bounce and distance.
The pitch would not be all the same, so some parts may be dry and others more wet.

The weather will also vary:
Sun: Very Cloudy (very dark) no sun ,Cloudy no sun, Sun (The sun will decrease the time it takes to dry out the pitch)
Temperature: Freezing to Normal to Baking (The hotter it is the faster the pitch drys out)
Rain: None, Slight, Normal, Heavy , Downpour (the heavier it is the faster the pitch becomes wetter)
Snow: None, Slight, Normal, Heavy ,SnowStorm (the heavier it is the faster the pitch fills up with snow)
Wind: None, Mild, Breezy, Hurricane (This will also affect the rain and snow, it will also help in drying out the pitch)

Altitude:
The higher you go the faster the ball flies through the air.

Wind:
This will affect the ball when it is in the air.
The wind would also change and affect the rain and snow.

The weather, wind altitude would also afffect the players.
Sun: Players tire out more easily.
Altitude: Players tire out more easily
Rain: Control of ball is worse.Players more likely to slip. Players may get bogged down if the pich is waterlogged. Players will slide tackle longer if the pitch is wet.
Snow: Control of ball is worse. Players more likely to slip.
Wind: Like golf if you run against it you will be slower, but if it is behind you you will go faster.

Pitch:
The pitch would also cut up if it is too wet.

Text to Speech Commentary:
Maybe on the PS3 instead of having sampled speech you could use text to speech. Each player will have there name and there text to speech name. This way you can name any player, team, stadium you want and have far better commentary

Finally Diving:
Maybe if you hit all the buttons at the same time, and press the Right Analogue stick the player will dive in that direction. The further you press the stick the more extreme the dive. Once the player has dived , by rotating the right analogue stick the player will roll on the fllor.

The ref may respond in two ways:
Book you or give you the freekick or penalty.

The opposing players may protest.

Not asking alot, are ya? lol

Would just like to see the gameplay tweaked up a bit, some extra weather effects, yes 360 movement, a license, and 2004 rosters update and a further improved graphics engine.
