What features would you like to see implemented in PES 2010 masterleague?

if in 1:1,000,000 chance this will be applied, one season would take you months to finish and it will get boring and suffistikated by no time.
also, some of your suggestions are way to complcated for KONAMI to make, like fans respect or youth team.

The youth team is something ive wanted aswell for ages. Its such a good idea i struggle to see problems with it. Its not like your playing with them.

-You should be able to pick from a variety of coaches to coach certain aspects of your team. In this case Youth Team Coach.

-You get him to train your youngsters up, ages varrying from 16-19

-There would be an option in the menu to check out their stats and results.

-You'd be able to sign and sell players for your youth team and your coach should give you recomendations of players you have that you should play and players that you should sign

Its a good idea because all too often people buy youngsters and find they can never fit them in their team because they're way below par. I personally wait till the other team has trained them up for years to buy them and by that time they're worth massive amounts of money and hard to get. So what better than signing players for cheap, seing them rise through the ranks of the youth system and break into your squad. It would be so satisfying to have home grown players that you've known for ages coming of age and making it big. It would also get you emotionally attached players that do make it through which would make it interesting to see if you keep them or let them go in transfer windows. It wouldnt be like you have to micro manage the team or anything as the coach would do all that stuff. Great idea and would add some much needed depth into the ML mode.

Pes shop should come back also and memorial match.

I really want the free agents back. Like in PES6 (the last one before it was removed), if a player was released, he would go into non-affiliates rather than the other section.

I'm not talking about shop players or ML youth players, but players who haven't signed a new deal.

Then you don't have to pay a transfer fee, just working out salary and contract year demands.

Real Money would be a great addition, sick of PES points.

I wouldn't like it to be over-complicated, I found some FIFA games this way and that's why I've steered clear of it all this time.

Like the idea of press conferences though. So when you choose a reply option, it adds or decreases to team morale or whatever.

Pretty sure that's how it works at the moment, when a player loses his old contract, he becomes non affiliated - but if the player doesn't get a new contract sorted in the same summer that he loses his old one, then he ends up with the 'Other' section, which is fair enough, because in real life, it's probably the equivalant of going to play in Qatar, or the Championship, or whatever.

Nah at the minute, if a player is released or contract runs out, they're moved to others where if you want to sign them, you must pay a fee.

But on PES4, PES5, PES6, it was realistic in that the player would be available on a free from non-affiliates.

While i'm on the subject, I think a good suggestion would be to be able to get players to sign new contracts all year round rather than on the last window of their last year.

1. Give people the option to play in actual leagues. It always bothers me that when I play ML, I always have to play in a league with a fake name and sometimes fake teams. For example, I usually play with an Eredivisie team, so I obviously want to play in a league with Eredivisie teams. But since there are only 18 Eredivisie teams and the ML leagues require 20 teams, I have to put in two foreign teams.

The only option I have, is to turn WE United and PES United into Dutch teams from a lower league. But even if I do this, I always end up playing against foreign teams. Because at the end of every season, a couple of Eredivisie teams get dropped down into the 2nd league and a couple of foreign teams find their way into the Eredivisie. So I always end up playing in some fictional league that doesnt make any sense.

2. Allow the League B teams in ML. For the obvious reasons (one of them being the first thing on my list).

3. Youth team. I never really thought of this, but I really like the idea after reading some other posts. It should be something that gets managed (semi-)automatically though.

4. An active negotiation system. Right now the negotiation system basically works like this:

Team A offers 10,000 points for a player of team B.
Proceed to next week
Team B rejects, accepts or puts your offer on hold.
(Assuming your offer got rejected) Team A offers 12,000 points for a player of team B.
Proceed to next week
Team B rejects, accepts or puts your offer on hold.
etc.

What I'd like to see, is a system in which you can actually negotiate the transfer for a player. Like, if you make an offer for a player. You immediatly (or next week) get a message from the other team in which they state wether they want to sell the player or not. And if they do, they can tell you what they think of the offer etc etc.

5. The ability to auto-resolve matches. I know, that PES is a football game, but sometimes I just want to get to the transfer period as quick as possible.

6. There are some minor things I'd like to see changed. Such as:

Real money instead of PES points.
The ability to create your own managers looks.
Thats about it really :p.

shoter matches

skipping matches would be a life saver

i dont think adding this would be a good idea cause you dont have any control over the result as you would by playing the game, if you dont want to play games of less importance play 5min matches at least you have a bit of a say in the result.

another thing pro evo fans want next gen ground breaking ideas to be put in the 2010 version a skip match option being added is the least of konami's problems would you not agree?? im sure im not the only big fan of the game who's love for the out dated master league is rapidly fading year after year, it should be looking to bring in way bigger ideas.

i have listed some of mine on page 4 of this forum people please let me know what you's think cheers.

another small thing does anyone from konami even look at these??

i guess they look at major PES fan sites. it will only do them good to look at these, as they can hear from us what we would like to improve, and not having to search for ideas like maniacs.

hopefully they do iv seen some great ideas that would be easy to put in the game on these sites over the last few years that were never put in, i think it would make alot of sense for them to try use them alot more were possible, coz at the end of the day it would make fans of the game alot happier to see their ideas to improve the game put to use

yes but i dont think they would look at individual forums. I think the best ideas should be compiled from this thread and emailed to Konami or indeed published on the Home page of this site if Konami do take an interest in the workings of pesgaming.com

The main feeling is that PES Fans want change in the ML, and well a lot of the ideas raised in this forum would definintely make the game overall better

- Be able to name and create ur own coach, cuz that fat old bastard is NOT me when cheering for a ML or CL victory ;).

- Be able to change haircuts & colour during the seasons, like: Duing every negotiation period.

- Vote for a "Player of the season" (best GK, B, MF and F).

- Able to change outfits every end of season.

- Better cheering in the dressingroom... OMFG...

- More of those funny clips during the games, and not only when u win a league or cup or when someone retires.

- During the games, there are allot of screenshots of pressconferences. I think it would be cool to answer ABC questions about certan games or situations in the game and let the press react to ur answers.

Still thinking... ;)

That's really interesting - because at the moment, I think that the COM plays a certain way, depending on their difficulty level, and the quality of the players determines how well it's executed.

What I would say, to make your idea a possibility, is (in true abstract Konami style) add in a bunch of managers (since they appear when you win a cup, there's nothing stopping them having a bit more input into the game). There, the very best of them, say for example whoever staerts at Man U and Barcalona (I don't suggest they should have real managers, at least not yet) are deemed to be the best managers. When you play these teams, the difficulty is Top Player, and it works so on with the other teams, down to the weaker managers on Regular. Then, the managers are interchangable with the clubs (which would tie in with others calls for you to be able to move club), so that it would not just be the 'Top Player' teams who stay top, but maybe who have the better managers, AND players.

Then, what I would say to further substantiate this, would be to add in at least one, preferrably two, hugher difficulty levels (something I thing PES really needs anyway). So you have levels 1-7 (7 being highest). But on Master League, you could only choose from 1-5. But with each level, you actually are facing three different levels. So if you chose the lowest, level 1, you'd in reality be facing teams with a difficulty of 1, 2 and 3. And if you chose level 2, you'd face difficulties 2, 3 and 4, and so on.

So the hardest you could face would be Level 5, where you had difficulties 5, 6 and 7. And what Konami could do, is make difficulty 7 (or maybe 6 as well) only available on Master League (and maybe BaL and League & Cup mode) so you couldn't perfect it by playing difficulty 7 exhibition matches.

Sorry if this is all a bit incoherant and tangental, but I kept thinking of ideas as I was typing, and I really like your idea, and I am a bit hyper after staying up all night reading A Murder Is Announced (and, just for the record, I bloody solved it perfectly, with no mistaken guesses, for the first time out of over 70 or so Agatha Christie books...)

Nice idea, the addition of managers (for this purpose) would be a spot of genious from Konami, I know what you mean as well about the fact that a combination of the best managers and the best players would contribute to the difficulty level, instead of things becoming to predictable based on the managers level above all else, because after all even the best managers have bad days, weeks, seasons, but it's a great addition to my point about Fixed AI, because they would obviously require some sort of variable to determine which teams are placed on which level, as It's easy to categorise the best and the worst teams, but there are a lot of teams not easily ascribed to a level, i.e. teams like newcastle who have fairly high stats compared to say Hull City who don't have the stats on PES but happen to finish above Newcastle in the league, there are a number of ways in which these teams could aquire one of the levels, some I suspect may raise questions, so an interchangable variable like managers is perfect, also, nice work down in Chipping Cleghorn lol, Good stuff.

i would like to see a second league added for the national leagues in pes. unlicensed if necessary but still with the players correct. i wouldn't mind editing them myself.it wouldn't have to be the complete leagues either, just enough to use as a second division in ML
also a league cup as well as an english cup. one for the teams in league 1 or 2 and the other for teams in both leagues together.
