what i HATE about the new ML-mode

it is sooooooooo fucking difficult to build an authentic squad, especially when transfer freuqency is set low. i mean it would be easier to get a correct (e.g.) inter squad if you start with juve as starting with inter. it's cool that you can trade players, but it does not help to get these stupid scratches (original, but inactive players). i also hate that now they cost points, how long do you have to play to re-assemle the correct real madrid????? sometimes i wonder what these developpers think. ML-play is the only decent league mode, so WTF can't you chose if you want to start with the correct or a fake team. to start with a fake team works wonderful for building any strong team by trading and acquiring free agents, but it makes rebuilding a team impossible. and if you chose high transfer activity the cpu will buy your players but as side effect all other teams will look completely fucked after a season or two.

glottis, seems you need to practise a lot more, the only difficulty in WE7 I found so far is when you start ML in 5min 5star level, buy all growth players and play with those growth players, at the moment I reckon it's the only thing challenging.

One way you can improve is by challening with a friend, also you can play 5min 5star world cup using China, I am sure you will get irritated after each match -

By the way the easiest way to build the original squad is by buying all free players, giving them $5000/week salary, make sure you select the most expensive players, then the stupid COM teams (Computer) will come and get those players by offering you approx $15000 - $25000.

note you should not use those players as their salary will turn you into bankruptcy.

sorry, but it guess you did not get what i meant. i have no problem to play and win in the ML mode with any team, i just would like to build "the" team i chose at the beginning - i.e. i choose inter and i want to have toldo, vieri and friends.
the changes made to the ML player acquiring in PES3 prevent this and i think it sucks. hence i wish they would let you start with a correct team or at least get "your" players for free just as it was in PES2 where anyway it was difficult to buy all the stars early because of the point limit.

100 % agree. At least the player should decide for himself whether to start with Castello, Miranda etc. or with the real players. This pisses me really off in the new ML, I´ve to play 2-3 seasons until I have the full Celtic squad, I don´t have so much time, this means for me that I´ve to play a month until I can play with the original Celtic players in ML.
The only option is cheating.

i don't agree, when i played ML on PS2, i chose 5min 5star with the original team, after D2 and 1st D1 season, my fund can be always up to $100,000, see my previous msg as to how I achieved it. to earn quick money, you can sign players for 1 year only, renew existing players annually and increase their salary to say $2000/week etc, then you can exchange players by spending 1 buck only.

doesn't that sound sweet? 4 to 6 days is the maximum time for me to build any team with any players.

note 10min game is too long.

This doesn´t sound sweet, coz 5 minutes per game is to short for me, I like to play 15 mins. I need about 2 weeks for 1 season. Of course I could play 5 mins but that would be boring, just my personal opinion.
btw what do you mean with your last sentence ?

sometimes people say WE7 is too easy, in some ways I do agree, especially after you have built a dream team, but since I am a super fan of WE since 1996.

spend sometime on it and you will dig out many good ways of enjoying it, first of all try China with 5min 5star world cup, or try ML with original team - don't buy any players. remember 5min 5star.

now the most exciting one is - play with all growth players in ML (again 5min 5star), myself is still struggling, haven't scored 1 goal yet though never lost any goal, draw(0-0) is the only result.

I don´t have the problem of winning ML, I´ve won already the ML with the default team on WE6FE on 5*. I´ve also won the World Cup with Saudi Arabia on 5*. I just want to play with the real players, that´s what I´m talking about. I don´t need them to win coz I think I would have chances to win the ML with default players on WE7 too. But it makes just more fun with real players.

Oh come on, I´ve heard this a hundred times, but it´s not true Konami Cup or normal league has nothing to do with ML
I don´t want to play one season, I want to play 20-30 seasons, with transfers, league and cup games in the same season etc.
But you must agree, playing 3 weeks until you have the Celtic squad together (and there aren´t much stars in the Celtic team) is stupid. I don´t have the time to play more than 3-4 matches (15 mins) a day and I want to have a realistic game, Castello, Miranda and company are far away from realism

look, it's easy. i think we all love PES3. however Konami does some mistakes, and the lack of game-modes is the biggest. i mean in 2003 it seems a bit weird not to be able to customize cup and league mode. it would take so little to implement a cup-edit mode and we all would be happy playing the real CL with the real teams. same goes for creating a 18 or 20 team league and playing the Premiership, the Serie A or what ever. If this is not the case, then at least make the only good mode, which over time is the ML, accesible for players who want to play with the correct teams. and i still don't understand why they changed the player acquiring system - is any of you happy with it now?
