Kitserver is a way to use liscenced kits without patching your game. It works on pc only

Is there any documentation online for how to use it, the latest version I downloaded didn't come with a readme and the forum had no instrucitons.

I've had a look through the Evo Web forums but couldn't find anything.

Basically, when I downloaded Kitserver I extracted it to inside a kitserver folder in my PES folder, and ran the executables, I've also got the upgraded dll.

However I had no subfolders, I did find out that these were needed so from downloading some kits online I now have a GDB folder inside kitserver inside this is a folder called uni, this in turn has a folder called EPL which has folders for all the teams that I downlaoded kits for in the English Premier League.

Inside the uni folder I have a text file called map.txt. and that's about it, I can't select kits or notice any change when I play, can someone point me in the right direction here please?

Cheers,

Blaise.

Well... as well said, the "kitserver" is a tiny program, that's co-operating with the PES6.exe. In this program's folder, there are SEVERAL sub-folders, with balls/stadiums/boots/kits... made by moders, which are EXTREMELY REALISTIC!
Some "kitserver" .rar files, posted in sites, comes WITHOUT these "goods" (only the program).
SOME... comes COMPLETED!

Check this site bellow:

www.evo-web.co.uk

Is the BEST IN the Net, about PES edititng (ALL FORMATS!)... Go and check the kits or the stadiums or... whatever you like! They are FANSTASTIC!
And... there're ALL FREE to download! There are ALSO info about HOW you will USE these files, to IMPORT them in the game (in "kitserver", actually...)

So... go GET them!

I've tried the number keys (I did read about this) nothing happens.

I still can't get Kitserver to work, can someone please post me an example of their folder structure, and tell me where the map.txt file goes, and anything else that I might need.

The Evo-web forums are good, I've been a member for a while, browsing through I found plenty of kits but still no tutorial or documentation, perhaps I'm missing something?

An outside chance is that you havnt pointed the map.txt file to the correct kit folders, i assume u have ran kitserver on your pes6.exe and it says running etc

eg of my map txt file

# This config maps team number into folder name
# Format: <team-num>,"<folder name>"
# Example: 21,"Russia"

9,"National\Germany"
21,"National\Russia"
66,"EPL\Blackburn"
67,"EPL\Bolton"
69,"EPL\Chelsea"
70,"EPL\Everton"
71,"EPL\Fulham"
72,"EPL\Liverpool"
73,"EPL\Manchester City"
76,"EPL\Newcastle"
80,"EPL\Tottenham"
82,"EPL\West Ham"
115,"SerieA\Milan"

so u have the team number, folder, kit name

hope this helps

Ok, I'll double check that next time I get home, where is the map.txt file meant to be held? In the kitserver folder?

Also are the folder names inside the map.txt file relative to the GDB folder or the uni folder or the kitserver folder?

Thanks for the help, but there's so much I've not been told, please be as detailed as possible.

Cheers,

Blaise.

Hmm. This program sounds good! I just have one question.

If you use this program, you won't get banned from playing online will you. (I always worry about that =p)
