stepovers should do more to confuse the defender, in my experience they are just for looks.

as ghazi said, the only use they have is for showboating with mates and making them foul you.

My m8 always fouls me in the box cos he slides properly, but I turn into another direction...

yeah, its best to run to a defender, and then press the r1+r2 'super sprint' to run away at a 45 degree angle, and they foul u 100% if u time it right. 90% of the time its a penalty, 10% of the time u feel extremely ripped off.

i did a 360 spin to great effect with robby baggio. I did the 360 then the ball went through the opponents players legs and robby collected the ball at the other side!

All the skill moves are superb and if used at the right time can become very effective. One snag though and that is the Manual Pass is sh*te. It gets in the way when i try a spin or a flick up and if konami must continue to use it please switch it to the left analogue stick.
